As the adventure bike market continues to thrive, more and more riders are growing frustrated with the steep learning curve riding a big, heavy bike off-road entails. The simple and affordable solution is to start on a lighter, more off-road capable dual-sport. While rather obviously limited in terms of touring comfort, dual-sports offer riders a means to hone important off-road riding skills without getting stressed out about breaking expensive parts, or trying to pick up a heavy bike at an awkward angle. There are currently several great entry-level options at our disposal. KTM and Beta recently launched a couple of…
The biggest car news and reviews, no BS Our free daily newsletter sends the stories that really matter directly to you, every weekday. The odometer in The Drive‘s 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport long-term tester just ticked 5,000 miles. Sigh, they grow up so fast! It seems like just yesterday that I hopped into my rolling pumpkin with only 255 miles on the clock, meaning I’ve driven it a total of 4,745 miles so far. That’s a lot of errands… My previous coverage focused on establishing a base for what the Passport TrailSport is, what I’m doing with it for roughly…
Automotive Ford and Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s RTR Vehicles just pulled the wraps off a new kind of Mustang fun, and it starts where you might not expect. The Mustang RTR is based on the EcoBoost, skips the manual, and still looks every bit the part with a GT face, RTR grille, and those mischievous light-up nostrils. The promise is simple. Make the most entertaining turbo Mustang yet and set it up to slide, clip apexes, and commute without drama. Under the skin is where the story gets good. Power holds at 315 hp and 350 lb-ft from the…
Nearly all new cars in Norway are electric now, so a plan to phase out subsidies is underway. There’s now a proposal to phase out a tax exemption for EVs by 2027. The plan is to lower the threshold for eligibility in 2026 before completely removing this benefit the following year. Norway’s finance minister argues the country’s transition to electric propulsion is pretty much complete and the incentive isn’t needed anymore. The end of the $7,500 federal tax credit for electric vehicles in the U.S. was definitely premature since the market is not even close to reaching a turning point…

The fourth-generation Wrangler, also known as the Wrangler JL, was introduced in 2018 – and importantly, it will remain on sale in other markets such as America, where more than 150,000 were sold last year alone. It’s only in Europe where it’s being axed. When we drove the latest Wrangler for the first time, we found that while the no-nonsense 4×4 was still very rugged and capable off-road, it offered a “more civilised interior and more all-round appeal generally”. We concluded: “The new Wrangler represents a well-judged step forwards for the famous Jeep.” Since then, Jeep has introduced the plug-in…
Halo cars represent the pinnacle of an automaker’s model lineup. In Ferrari’s case, the famed Italian automaker has produced six halo cars over the last five decades, with the first setting the precedent for subsequent models serving as showcases of Ferrari’s engineering and design capabilities. Ferrari’s first halo car was the Ferrari 288 GTO, which was soon followed and superseded by the iconic Ferrari F40. That twin-turbocharged Italian was succeeded by one of the most underrated members of Ferrari’s halo car family, which itself was surpassed by one of the most recognizable members, the Ferrari Enzo. After that, Ferrari broke…
