The Spanish soccer player posted a bunch of images featuring the mystery product. Lamine Yamal via Instagram Beats has made a tradition of slipping unannounced products to famous athletes and letting a little mystery drive the hype train, and it’s just done it again with a pair of bubblegum pink (perhaps with a dash of lilac?) headphones. Spanish soccer player Lamine Yamal shared a series of pictures and a video on Instagram showing the headphones hanging from his bag and draped around his neck. It’s hard to tell for sure if they’re on-ear or over-ear, but…
We saw a return of 3.6 miles per kWh from the Toyota on our test – a mere 0.1mi/kWh behind the Skoda. At that rate, and thanks to its bigger battery, the Elroq can travel 25 miles further on a charge. PracticalityThe C-HR+’s coupé-style profile limits boot space, and its 416-litre capacity is dwarfed by the 470 litres on offer in the upright Elroq. The Toyota isn’t helped by the amount of intrusion into the space, either. Rear headroom is also compromised in the C-HR+, but it’s not far behind the Skoda when it comes to legroom, and they’re level…
SUVs have emerged as the dominant force for most American families when it comes to purchasing a dependable and practical family servant. In a market once controlled by the sedan, SUVs have taken over due to providing more practicality thanks to their hatchback-style tailgates and higher rooflines that improve interior comfort and space, while also being more convenient due to their higher ride heights. Not only does this make them generally safer in the event of a crash, but it also means parents don’t have to lean down to tend to their children in the back seat. Plus, due to…
The Lamborghini Countach is the ultimate poster car and definitive artifact of an era defined by unadulterated excess. While the Ferrari F40 was undeniably a better driving experience, the Countach was much better to look at. And a big part of its appeal was the giant wing that proved to the ‘poors’ that it could do a million miles an hour. But look closer at that iconic supercar, specifically from the rear three-quarter angle. Bolted to the engine deck, it too was a symbol of the era. Except, it did not work. In fact, it did the exact opposite. This…
This week you may have read about the strained talks between negotiators trying to hammer out a new free trade agreement between the US, Mexico, and Canada. Michael Robinet, vice president of forecasting at S&P Global Mobility, said this week there’s “at least a 40% chance of a trade agreement” being reached before this November’s midterm elections in the US. But Robinet, a veteran auto analyst, had a lot more to say about the broader US political landscape as it affects the auto industry. In short, he sees the North American industry stagnating in the face of political uncertainty. Volkswagen…
The biggest car news and reviews, no BS Our free daily newsletter sends the stories that really matter directly to you, every weekday. If you’re eyeing a third-generation Toyota 4Runner, you might want to pull the trigger sooner rather than later. An exceptionally clean, low-mileage N180 4Runner recently sold for $52,800 at Mecum’s 2026 Indianapolis Auction, surpassing expectations and seeming to confirm the auction house’s intuition that 1990s 4Runners might be at the crest of a new wave of collector cars. This 1996 SR5 model was highlighted by Mecum as one to watch ahead of the auction. About two weeks…

The biggest car news and reviews, no BS Our free daily newsletter sends the stories that really matter directly to you, every weekday. The Ferrari Luce is finally here, and the Internet is not taking it well. While there were some hints, nobody seems to have been prepared for the unorthodox design of Ferrari’s first EV. The Luce has drawn the ire of ordinary commenters and industry bigwigs alike, a backlash that can best be described as a godsend to Jaguar’s PR department. But could the Luce have looked any different? Yes, if Ferrari had the imagination of Honda. The…
A Beijing court held its first hearing in a consumer fraud lawsuit against Tesla over its “Full Self-Driving” software, with 10 owners seeking more than 3.95 million yuan ($583,000) in damages. What the owners claim According to a report from The Beijing News, the plaintiffs each paid 56,000 yuan (~$7,800) for Tesla’s FSD package between 2019 and 2021. They allege that Tesla sales staff and CEO Elon Musk assured them…
Rust is the kind of survival game where choosing the right server matters almost as much as choosing the right weapon. This also reflects on the platform of your choice. If you’re you’re friends are spread across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, you’ll want to know exactly who can play together before anyone starts building a base. The answer to the question is simple in one way and annoying in another. Rust supports crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox players, but PC players cannot play with console players. So yes, there is cross-platform support, but only inside the console version of the…
