The parent firm of Fiat, Citroen, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Maserati and Alfa Romeo also revealed that STLA One is designed to cover B, C and D segments…
When you bring up luxury sport sedans, the same cars usually pop into people’s heads. The BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4 are most likely. But for years, many other great sedans have been vying for consumers’ attention in hopes of getting a little slice of the segment. The Lexus IS and ES duo have had some success thanks to their bulletproof reliability, and there are a few others still in the game in America, like the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Cadillac CT5, and Genesis G70. But others have come and gone, like the often-overlooked Acura TLX and…

The last decade or so of automotive interior design has had two main trends, both of which are closely related. Automakers have been shifting to bigger and bigger screens for handling more controls and information, and reducing the number of physical buttons and knobs to absolute minimums. In some cases, those physical controls have been practically eliminated. We seem to be reaching a turning point, though, where customers are fed up with the new controls schemes and are complaining. The latest to respond with a reversal seems to be Polestar. 2027 Polestar 5Polestar Apparently Polestar Has Received Complaints Autocar interviewed…
The clutch pedal is all but gone from the modern Italian supercar, but that doesn’t mean it won’t come back. The million-dollar question is whether it should come back, given just how good modern dual-clutch transmissions are. What if you could blend analog and digital tech? Ferrari may have a solution for that. But you may not like it. The CarBuzz researchers recently found a new patent from Ferrari that takes the physical clutch pedal and makes it digital. If cars can have brake by wire, throttle by wire, and even steer by wire, why not clutch by wire? Is…
