Nvidia’s announcement that it’s getting into the consumer laptop chip space with RTX Spark is huge. Apple has proved for years that Arm-based chips can perform incredibly well while also delivering great battery life — at least on the Mac. In the Windows world, performance hasn’t fully matched up under Qualcomm chips, mostly in the graphics department. There’s clearly still untapped potential, and Nvidia seems to be promising to deliver it.This could be Windows’ moment to blow us away with a new generation of supremely capable chips, much like Apple’s back in 2020, with the introduction of the M1. But…

By the age of 14, I had driven a Group C Jaguar XJR-9 around the Nordschleife, conquered the Col de Turini in Colin McRae’s Impreza and crashed a Veyron at 250mph. At least that’s what I told my mum.  Sim racing is, quite simply, the most accessible and tangible way to revel in cars when the real thing is beyond your means. I’ll spare you the sob story but, as the middle of three children to a single mum in suburban London, there was simply no way I was getting behind the wheel of a go-kart or out on a…

The issue of e-bike scofflaws has grown considerably over the last few years, normally taking the form of teenagers on fast e-bikes illegally cruising down sidewalks or recklessly riding through intersections. But as it turns out, Canada’s largest province is full of e-bike scofflaws of a different variety: parents simply wanting to bring their kids to school without using a car. In Ontario, home to over a third of Canada’s population, laws governing micromobility devices like e-bikes do not permit anyone under 16 on board, either as the main rider or a passenger. Despite the ban, every school day, there…

Blue Origin may or may not have to sit out the most immediate moon-bound missions for NASA — it depends on who you ask. The agency’s administrator, Jared Isaacman, told CNBC that it will “take some serious time” for Blue Origin to restore its New Glenn launchpad, which exploded on May 28, and that a 2028 timeframe is “within the realm” of possibility. However, Blue Origin’s CEO believes his company can repair it much, much sooner. “We will fly again before the end of this year. Gradatim Ferociter,” Dave Limp wrote on X.  If you’ll recall, Blue Origin’s Cape Canaveral launchpad exploded with…

Related This Is The Used Hybrid SUV To Buy If You Have A Budget Of $20,000 The used hybrid SUV doesn’t just come discounted but also packs some innovative features and admirable space. What The Night Trim Actually Adds To The Tucson Hybrid 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Night AWDHyundai The Night trim follows the same formula Hyundai has applied to other models in its lineup: darkened exterior trim, blacked-out badges, and dark-finish wheels combine to give the Tucson Hybrid a more aggressive, monochromatic look without changing the underlying vehicle. It’s a visual package, not a performance one — but that’s…

Performance SUVs can come in many shapes and sizes, from smaller and more efficient specimens like the Kia EV6, to high-end luxury weapons like the Lamborghini Urus. These cover two distinct areas of the market, but neither is arguably the rawest and most engaging of the breed out there. The muscle SUV makes a strong case for taking these accolades, with machines like the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat wading into battle with insane supercharged V8s. Not only do they sound like a god getting frustrated wrenching on their own pride and joy, but they go like stink and look like…

A British company famed for resto-modding the Peugeot 205 GTi has just revealed its next project, after turning its attention to the Ford Escort XR3i. Unlike the Peugeot, this is a one-off program rather than a small-batch production, but features a similarly in-depth reimagination of the XR3i without changing the fundamental character which made the hot hatchback such an icon in the first place.  Advertisement – Article continues belowThis new Tolman Edition started with a complete refresh of the body, with the team reinforcing the steel structure, treating any corrosion from the original donor car and even fitting a custom-made…

Southeast Michigan may not be Texas, but we have more than our fair share of big trucks around here. Second only to the Escalades and other full-size SUVs that prowl metro Detroit, heavy-duty pickups like the 2026 Ford F-250 Super Duty are still coveted chariots even in some of America’s wealthiest suburban zip codes. But there’s a flip side to that. When I’m testing a flashy luxury SUV or fancy sports car, the neighbors will often wander past. They want to know what it is, and more often than not, what it’ll do. Something like an F-250 Super Duty, on…

Hyundai’s biggest seller is the Tucson compact SUV, and it’s not even close. At the end of last year, Hyundai sold more than 230,000 of them in the U.S. In second place was the Hyundai Elantra compact sedan with nearly 150,000 sales. On top of that, Tucson sales boomed over 2025, with nearly 30,000 more sales compared to 2024. So far this year (through April), sales are still strong, but just about even to 2025. To try and keep the momentum, it’s spicing up each end of the Tucson line with a more stylish hybrid option, and some more affordable…

Everyone has different standards when shopping for a car, especially one from the secondhand market, which is awash with cutcost Toyota Corollas and Tesla Model 3s. It pays to do your due diligence when inspecting any potential used vehicle purchase, but some criteria may also be required to narrow down which examples you want to focus on before making the important decision of handing over your money. These range from what optional equipment is featured, to the color, model year, how reliable it is, and, crucially, the indicated mileage. The general impression is that your money is best spent pursuing…
