UPDATE: 2026/06/14 16:00 EST BY SEAN MCMANUS Nissan Z Nismo Specs and Driving Characteristics Added a section pertaining to what the Z Nismo has to offer and how it handles. When Toyota killed the GR Supra in March 2026, it left exactly one manual, twin turbo sports car for under $50k in America. Nissan just announced they’re doubling that number. Alright, Nissan, you have my attention. In case you missed it, Nissan launched the Z Nismo with an automatic gearbox only. This seemed like a tragedy to many, and instead of ignoring the problem, Nissan listened to its customers. Related…
Cast your mind back to the mid-2000s. BMW had just unleashed the first M5 powered by a V10, doubling down on a high-revving philosophy already cemented with the third-generation BMW M3 and its brilliant inline-six, at a time when rivals were increasingly turning to forced induction for easy power. The company was also preparing for an ill-fated Formula 1 campaign through its acquisition of the Sauber F1 team, just as the sport’s V8 era was kicking off. The BMW M3 E90 is powered by a glorious four-liter V8 engine.BMW BMW was also in the midst of developing its fourth-generation M3…
Ferrari has entered the all-electric vehicle market with the Luce, which debuted in early June and left a lot of people scratching their heads in confusion. Whatever you think of the Ferrari Luce, it’s a tech powerhouse, all the way down to famed Apple designer Jony Ive being involved. With that in mind, it shouldn’t be surprising that Ferrari is pushing hard on some tech-forward thinking, and CarBuzz recently found a patent that showcases an interesting idea. While having a solar panel on the roof of a car to keep batteries topped up is an old idea, Ferrari’s patent takes…
The bulk transport experts at Wibax have placed what’s being a “landmark” order with Swedish truck brand Scania that will see over 100 of the company’s battery-electric semi trucks put to work on European roads. Scania says this Wibax deal is the EU’s largest single sales of electric trucks for bulk transport to date, and reflects the two companies’ shared belief that an electric truck fleet is the ideal solution for sustainable, reliable, and affordable fleet operations. “We want to electrify our fleet quickly. And, with Scania, we can ensure that we introduce the new technology as quickly as possible…
Gaming handhelds are great because they are portable (basically small). But that is also one of its biggest weaknesses. I was reminded of that while trying Asus’ new ROG Xbox Ally X20 bundle at Computex 2026. On its own, the Ally X20 is already a more polished version of the ROG Xbox Ally X. It arrives with nice updates that sound minor on paper but make a device feel more complete in your hands. The real surprise, though, was the bundled ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses. I walked in to try the 20th anniversary edition of ASUS’…
The biggest car news and reviews, no BS Our free daily newsletter sends the stories that really matter directly to you, every weekday. Whether it’s battling for Nürburgring lap records or embarrassing supercars in zero to 60 mph acceleration, the C8 Corvette ZR1 is taking “America’s sports car” to new heights of performance. It features numerous upgrades over lesser ‘Vettes to make that happen, but one thing Chevrolet apparently needs to upgrade next is the paint. Owners are reporting that the big rear wing that’s part of the optional ZTK performance package can push down on the bodywork with so…
I have this vivid memory of walking to pick up my oldest from school in June of 2022. For a variety of reasons, I was in a very bad place mentally. And to make matters worse, it was brutally hot. I was depressed, angry with the world, sunburned, and soaked through with sweat. But as the second track on Conclave, “Habla,” settled into its groove, I found myself unconsciously strutting. Not walking, but moving through the streets in lockstep with the music, just as a much-needed cool breeze kicked up, and some scaffolding afforded me a full block’s worth of…
Customers can order new joysticks, batteries, screens and more. Just because your Anbernic handheld has a broken joystick or a cracked screen doesn’t mean you have to trash it. Anbernic recently revealed a store page that’s dedicated to replacement parts for its gaming handhelds, ranging from its more recent RG Rotate to its older offerings like the RG350P. The store page has options to buy replacement shells, screens, conductive rubber pads, joysticks, batteries, motherboards and buttons for whichever handheld you’re trying to repair. Beyond ordering the specific part on the storage page, you have to specify the model and color…
The Gold Wing is the standard when it comes to its segment. This is due to a combination of value, features, comfort, ownership cost, and reliability that is unbeatable. And that is before we get to how pleasant and comfortable it is to ride for extended periods and distances. With the only automatic gearbox in the segment, not too many bikes can keep up with it. Sure, they might be quicker over a short distance, but to keep you fresh day after day on an intercontinental ride, there is nothing better. The Gold Wing’s Life Has Become More Difficult In…
Audi has developed its fair share of iconic engines over the years, with one of the main ones coming to mind being its glorious naturally aspirated V10. This unit powered vehicles such as the Audi RS 6, R8 supercar, and even the Lamborghini Huracán before being retired in 2024. This engine was a little out of reach for most gearheads, however, so the one arguably more revered is the marque’s turbocharged inline-five powerplant. Still in production to this day, the unit has been seen in many forms throughout its history, from gas to diesel and from 2.1 to 2.5 liters…
