Maserati is heading into 2027 with a welcome round of updates that touch nearly every important part of its current lineup. The GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale are all receiving fresh styling, cabin revisions, performance improvements, and added electric range where it matters most. It is not a complete reinvention of the Trident brand’s offerings, but it is a meaningful refinement that gives each model a little more attitude.
The visual changes are subtle enough to preserve Maserati’s familiar Italian elegance, yet there is a more focused edge to the new look. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio adopt a revised front end that takes inspiration from the sharper design language seen on the MCPura. New wheels, fresh paint choices, and clearer taillight lenses help modernize the grand touring duo without making them look overly dramatic or trend-driven.
The biggest news for enthusiasts comes from the GranTurismo Trofeo and GranCabrio Trofeo. Maserati’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 now produces 582 horsepower, a healthy 40-horsepower increase over the previous version. That added muscle should make the Trofeo models feel even more special when the road opens up, while a revised exhaust note promises to give the cars a stronger voice to match their more aggressive character.
The standard GranTurismo Modena continues with 483 horsepower from the same twin-turbo V6, but Maserati is giving it a new Country drive mode. That setting raises the ride height by roughly 0.8 inch, which may sound like a small change, but it should be appreciated by owners navigating rougher roads, steep driveways, or the occasional imperfect parking lot. Maserati is also continuing to develop its Folgore electric models rather than treating them as side projects. Over in the SUV lineup, the 2027 Grecale receives a similar styling refresh along with a reshuffled gas-powered range. A new entry-level Grecale V6 will slot below the Modena, but it will still use the same 385-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6. That is an interesting move from Maserati, since it gives buyers a lower point of entry without forcing them into a less exciting engine.
The Grecale Modena will continue with 385 horsepower, while the Grecale Trofeo remains the top performance choice with 523 horsepower. Inside, buyers will find a new steering wheel, a revised gear selector, updated trim details, and more personalization choices. Maserati has always leaned heavily on customization, and the new colors, wheel designs, and cabin options should give buyers more ways to build a Grecale that feels less like a typical luxury SUV.
The Grecale Folgore also gets a notable boost in usable range, with Maserati targeting up to 274 miles when equipped with 20-inch wheels and 272 miles with 21-inch wheels. With pricing still to be announced, the new base Grecale V6 could become an appealing alternative for shoppers who want Maserati performance and style without stepping immediately into the current $86,495 Modena territory. Taken together, these 2027 updates show Maserati tightening its lineup with more power, more range, and a stronger sense of purpose across both its gasoline and electric models.
