Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand of Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), is offering an additional limited run of its high-performance 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition to boost sales and consolidate its position in the high-end market.
The limited-edition model maintained its official suggested retail price of 365,000 yuan ($53,920). Buyers who place a deposit by May 31 will be eligible for a series of time-limited purchase benefits.
These limited-time perks include an 8,000 yuan purchase tax subsidy, a 5,000 yuan trade-in subsidy, a 5,000 yuan insurance subsidy, and a 5,000 yuan optional equipment fund, according to a statement on Friday.
In addition, buyers will receive an exclusive commemorative gift box, track driving training courses, and lifetime access to the advanced driver assistance system.
Positioned as a model focused on extreme track performance, the Zeekr 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition was initially released in a limited run on April 10, though the exact volume was not disclosed. On April 14, Zeekr announced the edition had sold out.
The vehicle is built on a 900-volt pure electric architecture and features a dual silicon carbide all-wheel-drive system.
It delivers a peak power of 680 kW (912 hp) and a top speed of 280 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.91 seconds.
The model is equipped with a 103-kilowatt-hour Qilin battery from CATL (HKEX: 3750), supporting 6C ultra-fast charging technology that can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in about 10 minutes.
To ensure superior handling, the chassis utilizes KW high-performance coilover suspension and is fitted with Brembo six-piston calipers.
The vehicle also extensively utilizes carbon fiber aerodynamic kits to achieve a lightweight design.
The new vehicle features a native AI-powered cockpit system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, along with a 39.3-inch augmented reality head-up display and a large high-definition center console screen.
The infotainment system incorporates performance software derived from the Zeekr 001 FR, offering drivers exclusive features such as a racing mode, intelligent drift assistance, and an AI coach.
Zeekr delivered a record 31,787 vehicles in April, representing a massive 132% year-on-year surge.
Despite an increasingly fierce price war in the Chinese auto market, Zeekr has maintained a high product premium. The brand’s average transaction price per vehicle remains close to 350,000 yuan.
The premium electric MPV is offered in six- and seven-seat versions, with higher-trim models upgraded to a 900-volt high-voltage architecture.
