Xiaomi EV said its July deliveries continued to exceed 30,000 units.

It marked the fourth consecutive month that deliveries remained above the 30,000-unit mark and the fourth straight month in which the company used the same wording. As before, Xiaomi EV did not disclose an exact figure or provide a breakdown by model.

Detailed monthly delivery figures are expected to be released later by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

Notably, Xiaomi EV delivered 30,452 vehicles in July last year. That means year-on-year growth would be limited if the actual July figure was only slightly above 30,000 units.

Xiaomi EV didn’t disclose a specific figure, sticking with the vague wording it has always used.

Deepal, a sub-brand of Changan Automobile (SZSE: 000625), recorded global sales of 29,213 vehicles in July, up 7.52% year-on-year.

Deepal’s global sales reached 193,369 vehicles in the first 7 months of the year, up 13.48% year-on-year.

Arcfox, the electric vehicle (EV) unit of Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), delivered 25,074 vehicles in July, up 121.27% year-on-year.

The brand delivered 126,675 vehicles from January through July, up 82.55% year-on-year.

SAIC-GM-Wuling recorded global sales of 120,050 vehicles in July, including 72,695 new energy vehicles (NEVs).

Volkswagen Anhui delivered 2,149 vehicles in July, up 170% year-on-year.

NEV retail penetration is expected to reach about 64.5% in July, rising further from June.
