Auto enthusiasts and Willow Springs International Raceway go together like baseball and hot dogs, and rightly so. Willow Springs is America’s oldest permanent road course and a haven for driving enthusiasts. So it seems fitting that at the Willow Springs Reimagined, the event celebrating the rebirth of this iconic track, a selection of the most incredible drivers’ cars around will find new homes through a specially curated Cars & Bids auction collection.
It’s the kind of lineup that Cars & Bids has built its reputation on, and a reflection of the platform’s growing momentum. The enthusiast-driven team prides itself on hands-on service that brings special cars to life for sellers and bidders alike.
From supercar royalty to restomod icons, on-screen legends to European hot hatch royalty, the Willow Springs Collection has something for everyone. And when the hammer drops on October 17, live at the racetrack, there are going to be some very happy collectors and car enthusiasts.
16 Performance Icons Under One Collection
With bidding now open for all but one of the 16 auction lots, would-be buyers have eight days left to free up the funds they need to take home these special cars, spanning a range of eras and performance segments. Cars & Bids has brought together an assortment of classic and contemporary performance cars, each as thrilling as the next.
Modern performance lovers are spoiled for choice, as the auction collection includes a one-of-550 2026 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series coupe, finished in Smoke Matte Gray and powered by the famous naturally aspirated Lexus V8. Supercar lovers have options aplenty, from an MSO Volcano Yellow 2024 McLaren 750S Spider and a 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica covering contemporary options, while a 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena with Challenge Stradale mods and a 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Coupe sate your desire for older exotica.
Hot hatch lovers can look forward to a US-titled 2001 Renault Clio V6, the mid-engined, RWD French driver’s weapon, or a 1993 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo 2 with only 28,000 miles on the clock.
Even truck fans and muscle car enthusiasts have something to fawn over. A 2019 Ford F-150 HM Elite Prerunner is offered, sporting a supercharged Coyote V8, long-travel suspension, and fully caged build, while muscle car fans can bid for a 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition with the carbon fiber track pack and just 12 miles on the odometer.
But the three hero cars of the auction are simply unmissable.
Iron Man’s One-Off Acura NSX Roadster From ‘The Avengers’
You can finally live out your Iron Man dreams with the one-and-only Acura NSX Roadster from the original The Avengers film. Custom-built for the movie and driven by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, the roadster mimicked the styling of the NSX concept, sans roof, but was actually built on the bones of a 1991 Acura NSX. That means a 3.0-liter VTEC-equipped V6 engine with 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque paired to a five-speed manual transmission; no hybrid action, no all-wheel drive
The body was designed by Acura to mimic the coupe concept shown at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, and hand-crafted from resin and fiberglass. Finished in Hotrod Red paint to match the Iron Man suit, and wearing ‘STARK 33’ license plates, the NSX Roadster is being sold in the same condition as it was when it appeared in the 2012 film, right down to the staggered 18- and 20-inch wheels.
In addition to its cool factor and one-of-one status, this may be one of the highest mileage NSX supercars ever, with the odometer reading 252,188 miles. But its provenance comes with a catch. Despite having such incredible mileage, the car carries no VIN plate, meaning it can’t be titled, registered, or driven on public roads. Then again, if you’re living out your fantasies as Tony Stark/Iron Man, you probably have a private racetrack for it.
And if the thought of owning it for its cool factor wasn’t enough, all proceeds from this lot will benefit charitable initiatives.
Bidding for this lot opens on October 17, making it a one-day-only affair.
1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe by Singer
A Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer is a special thing, and one that typically carries with it an insanely long waiting list. Which is exactly what makes this 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe by Singer so special.
The “Elroy” commission (every Singer is given a name) was reimagined by Singer in 2023 after starting life as a 964-generation 911 Carrera 4 Coupe. Tastefully restored and modified, the carbon fiber bodywork has been finished in Tangerine Orange with ghosted lower stripes and Pistachio Porsche lettering. The Pistachio accent is also featured on the Brembo calipers, housed behind 17-inch Fuchs-style wheels and operating on carbon ceramic discs.
Mechanically, this Singer 911 is marvelous. The 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine was built by Ed Pink Racing, and is rated by Singer at 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all corners via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, with Öhlins 2-way adjustable suspension helping control the body.
The digital odometer reads only 791 miles (likely since recommissioning by Singer), with approximately 300 of those being added by the selling dealer since acquisition earlier this year.
With eight days left until the hammer drops, bidding is already at $750,000. But given the prestige and demand for Singer creations, it’s likely to climb significantly higher.
“This is one of the best cars we’ve ever hosted on Cars & Bids, and there is no better place to sell it,” said Matt Robinson, Head of Auctions at Cars & Bids. “On October 17 it will be sitting in the paddock at Willow Springs, home of the Singer Drivers Club, with the people who have driven that track for decades standing next to it and bidders around the world watching the same hammer fall.”
Doug DeMuro’s Own 2005 Ford GT
Doug DeMuro is a renowned journalist, gearhead, and founder of Cars & Bids, and this… is the auction for his personal 2005 Ford GT. Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic with white racing stripes over an Ebony interior, the Ford is both car guy and car nerd royalty.
Only around 4,000 Ford GTs were built when the name was revived in 2005, powered by a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 developing 550 hp and 500 lb-ft. But this particular car features an SCT ECU tune, smaller supercharger pulley, and a Ford Racing exhaust, so those figures may well be higher. Power is sent to the rear axle via a six-speed manual gearbox, enhanced with the fitment of a Ford Racing short shifter.
Doug is only the second owner of this historic tribute to the original Le Mans-winning Ford GT40s, and has maintained meticulous records of any and all work completed on the car since he took ownership in September 2018. He has subsequently added 14,400 miles to the car of the 45,800 on the odometer.
It features the original owner’s manual, order form and order guide, two window stickers, a Ford certificate of authenticity, and numerous other pieces of documentation and additional parts. The additional documents include the invitation to Ford GT designer’s Camilo Pardo’s 2006 GT party, where he signed the engine bay.
After purchase, DeMuro had the GT equipped with full-body paint protection film, which remains on the car today.
The car has featured in numerous videos on the Doug DeMuro YouTube channel, making it a car that has been seen by millions of people worldwide. At the time of writing, the highest bid sits at $500,000, and with eight days to go, is bound to fetch a whole lot more when the hammer drops at Willow Springs Reimagined.
What is Willow Springs Reimagined?
As America’s oldest permanent road course, the circuit has been raced on by legends like Ken Miles, Carroll Shelby, and Dan Gurney. Its original 2.5-mile layout remained unchanged since 1953, until new ownership in 2025 breathed new life into the track and surrounding facilities. In October 2025, to celebrate its reopening, the inaugural Willow Springs Reimagined drew more than 5,000 enthusiasts, celebrating the circuit’s history and newfound revival.
This year’s auction adds to an already stacked agenda, including a full day of racing, historic race car displays, and a time attack event. The 16 cars on auction will be displayed in the paddock throughout the event, with on-site bidding adding to the excitement. The full collection of cars is available for viewing and online bidding here.
