Huawei HIMA monthly deliveries
2024
2025
2026
- Huawei HIMA delivered 50,624 vehicles in June, down 3.73% year-on-year, though up 9.76% from the previous month.
- The alliance delivered a cumulative 242,229 units in the first half, up 18.74% year-on-year.
Huawei-backed HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) delivered 50,624 vehicles in June, down 3.73% year-on-year, marking its first year-on-year decline since May 2025, according to data it released Wednesday.
Still, that represented a 9.76% increase from the previous month, the third consecutive month of month-on-month delivery growth for HIMA. April and May had earlier posted month-on-month gains of 23.17% and 40.79%, respectively.
In the first half of 2026, HIMA delivered a cumulative 242,229 units, up 18.74% year-on-year. The performance signals the alliance has stabilized following industry-wide softness at the start of the year.
To date, cumulative deliveries across HIMA’s entire lineup have surpassed 1.43 million units. HIMA said this set a new record as the fastest pace among China’s emerging brands, and that it is heading toward its second million-unit milestone.
June’s sequential growth was driven by faster deliveries of several new models. The alliance’s Aito M6 surpassed 30,000 deliveries within 54 days of its launch.
The Shangjie Z7 series, jointly developed by Huawei and SAIC, topped 10,000 deliveries in a single month. The model was launched on April 22 and only began deliveries at the end of May.
The all-new Aito M9 began volume deliveries on June 16, with the SUV surpassing 8,000 deliveries within two weeks.
The Aito M9 is jointly developed by Huawei and Seres (HKEX: 9927). The new-generation model was launched on May 27 with a starting price of 479,800 yuan ($70,640).
The model drew a strong response after its launch. Within 24 hours of going on sale, firm orders exceeded 20,000.
HIMA is at the core of Huawei’s automotive business. Huawei has jointly created five brands with five traditional Chinese automakers.
These brands include Seres’ Aito, Chery’s (HKEX: 9973) Luxeed, SAIC’s Shangjie, BAIC Group’s Stelato, and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp’s (JAC) Maextro.
The approach helps traditional automakers gain an edge in China’s fiercely competitive market, which is currently dominated by companies such as BYD (HKEX: 1211) and Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175).
In addition to the Aito M9, HIMA has recently rolled out several new models. The Luxeed V9 MPV, developed by Huawei and Chery, was launched on May 15 with a starting price of 389,800 yuan.
The MPV also drew a strong response at launch, with firm orders topping 10,500 within 48 hours of going on sale.
At the recent Shenzhen Auto Show, the alliance displayed 13 models across a record 5,000 square meters of exhibition space.
To boost summer demand, HIMA has also introduced a range of services, including road-trip route support and one-stop vehicle registration services.
The Maextro S800 Grand Design starts at 1.388 million yuan ($204,400), taking aim at Mercedes-Benz Maybach.
