- Aistaland GT7 opened pre-sales on May 29, with a starting pre-sales price of 219,900 yuan ($32,460).
- The model features Huawei’s latest ADS 5 smart driving system and a high-spec LiDAR.
Aistaland, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand jointly created by GAC Group (HKEX: 2238) and technology giant Huawei, will launch its first model, the GT7, on June 26.
Aistaland announced the plan on Monday. The brand is initially targeting the shooting-brake segment, with the new model having started pre-sales on May 29.
The mid- to large-size shooting-brake coupe comes in four versions, with pre-sales starting prices of 219,900 yuan ($32,460), 249,900 yuan, 279,900 yuan and 309,900 yuan, respectively.
The GT7’s upcoming launch marks Aistaland’s formal entry into China’s fiercely competitive premium EV market. The car aims to attract young consumers seeking dynamic design and cutting-edge intelligent technology.
Aistaland is rapidly expanding its sales network to support the new car’s launch. The brand plans to open 300 stores across 70 cities nationwide in China by the end of June.
The GT7 measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
The car is built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture and is equipped with a next-generation Qilin battery supplied by CATL (HKEX: 3750), delivering a maximum all-electric range of up to 900 kilometers.
The GT7 supports 6C ultra-fast charging, which is said to add one kilometer of range per second.
The top-of-the-line version features a tri-motor system. This version can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.98 seconds.

The GT7 is equipped with Huawei’s latest Qiankun ADS 5 smart driving system, whose perception hardware includes Huawei’s 896-channel LiDAR sensor, currently the highest-spec mass-produced unit in the world.
The GT7 has obtained permits for L3 autonomous-driving road testing in Guangzhou and has completed 200,000 kilometers of L3-level real-world road testing.
The shooting-brake coupe was once a niche segment in the Chinese market. But the unprecedented success of the Zeekr 001 following its launch several years ago has proven the category’s vast commercial potential to the industry.
Aistaland is one of the brands Huawei has created through a new model of cooperation with Chinese automakers. Huawei has previously launched five other brands with partners under its HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business.
Beyond Aistaland, Huawei has partnered with Dongfeng Motor to create the new brand Epicland, which unveiled its first model, the Epicland X9 SUV, in April.
In addition to the GT7, Aistaland has already begun developing its second model, a large five-seat SUV said to be named the GX7.
Recently leaked road-test spy photos show the GX7 carrying over the GT7’s family design language. The new car adopts a closed front fascia and a full-width taillight, and is expected to launch this autumn, according to a report yesterday by local media outlet Yiche.
The GX7 is expected to offer all-electric powertrains and will likewise feature Huawei’s latest smart driving-assistance system and smart cockpit.
