Challenger Lifts has introduced a galvanized arm option for its CL10AV3 and CL12A two‑post lift models, designed to improve durability and reduce maintenance in harsh operating environments.
The new option is aimed at repair facilities that face regular exposure to moisture, road salt and other corrosive elements that can accelerate wear on traditional lift components.
“Repair facilities in many parts of the country face daily exposure to moisture, salt and other corrosive elements that can shorten the lifespan of critical equipment,” said Trevor Coleman, national sales manager for Challenger Lifts. “Our galvanized arms option gives customers a practical solution to combat those conditions while maintaining the reliability, safety and performance they expect.”
The galvanized arms are treated using a hot‑dip galvanizing process, creating a zinc‑iron alloy coating that enhances corrosion resistance and helps preserve structural integrity over time. This added protection is particularly beneficial for shops in regions with harsh winters or high humidity, where equipment is more vulnerable to rust and degradation.
