After finally making Siri a half-decent assistant in this year’s round of major OS updates, it looks like the smart home is going to Apple’s big area of focus in the coming months. Reliable Apple insider Mark Gurman revealed earlier this week that the company’s long-awaited home hub could arrive later in October, and in the debut episode of his new Power On podcast, he predicted that a security camera may follow. But unlike its many soon-to-be rivals, this one somewhat bizarrely won’t actually record video. As well as the home hub device, which will be the centrepiece of the…
The 2027 Hyundai Tucson has finally been revealed, along with all of the important details like its dimensions, engines, and some of its trims. Those are all important aspects of the small SUV, which is itself critical to Hyundai because it’s the automaker’s biggest seller in America. The most standout feature of the car, though, is undoubtedly the design. It doesn’t look anything like its predecessor, and that can be risky for a popular vehicle. Why do it? According to the senior vice president and head of Hyundai’s design center, it’s partly because Hyundai did that with the last model.…
Automotive Hyundai has fully pulled the covers off the redesigned 2027 Tucson, and the changes go well beyond its much boxier appearance. The new compact SUV is larger, roomier, more tech-heavy, and more capable than before, while its available hybrid powertrain targets up to 42 mpg. Hyundai has also added a more serious XRT Pro model for buyers who want some extra trail capability, making this one of the most comprehensive overhauls the Tucson has received in years. The new Tucson grows in nearly every direction, with a longer wheelbase and increases in overall length, width, and height.…

Full disclosure: I know nothing about Star Wars. I’ve seen maybe three of the movies in my life and retained zero plot information from any of them. My nickname for every character is “Glorp Casino.” Still, I was excited when I heard about Star Wars Galactic Racer, because it looked to combine the franchise’s distant-universe steampunk vibes I actually find appealing with tried-and-true arcade racing fundamentals, courtesy of Fuse Games, a new British studio formed by Criterion alumni. These are the folks behind Need for Speed’s early 2010s renaissance and, more importantly, Burnout. At their finest moments, both games ran…
There are cheap e-bikes, and there are good mid-drive e-bikes. Those two circles on the Venn diagram don’t overlap nearly as often as we’d like. But Ride1Up’s newly launched Prodigy V2 Eco is doing its best to smash them together with a surprisingly low $1,295 price tag. And this isn’t a $1,300 bike with some no-name mid-drive motor you’ve never heard of. At the heart of the Prodigy V2 Eco is a German-made Brose TF Sprinter mid-drive motor pumping out 90 Nm of torque, paired with a 504 Wh battery using Samsung cells. In other words, the expensive bits are…
The Kia Sorento is quietly going about being the right SUV for a small family: It’s the right size for the right price, bigger than the Sportage, but smaller than the Telluride, has great cargo space with the third row folded down, and while the third row has little legroom, it’s there for when needed. For those cross shopping, it’s considerably less expensive than a Toyota Highlander, and easily comparable once you go up the trim ladder. Which likely goes a long way to explain why the Sorento bumped up in sales by 37.5% in September 2026 versus September 2025.…
Subaru of America has partnered with Motorq to provide fleet operators with direct access to vehicle telematics data from connected Subaru vehicles, eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware. The companies said the program will begin with telematics-enabled 2027 model-year Subaru gasoline and hybrid vehicles. Data from Subaru’s Connected Services platform will be streamed directly into Motorq’s fleet management platform. According to the companies, fleet managers will be able to access information including vehicle location, odometer readings and diagnostic trouble codes through the platform. Motorq will use its Fuse AI system to analyze vehicle data and provide maintenance and operational recommendations…
Suno is branching out from the world of AI music, launching a new feature that generates spoken voices based on scripts or prompted descriptions. Speech is now available in public beta across Suno’s web and mobile platforms, and allows you to simultaneously generate voiceovers and background music to accompany them.“Music will always be at the heart of Suno and what we build. At the same time, our vision has always extended to other forms of human expression,” Suno chief product officer, Jack Brody, said in the announcement. “Today, we’re expanding what’s possible in Suno with Speech: the first audio model…
The 2000s produced some of the most striking cars in recent memory, and that wasn’t always a great thing. It was a decade of experimentation, a time when, pre-recession, companies were willing to pursue big-budget projects and bold designs in the hope of capturing the public consciousness as we thundered into the new Millennium. In a bid for glory, there were many, many misses, but we’re not here to talk about those. Instead, we want to talk about the wins. In this article, we explore 10 different vehicles we consider to be absolute lookers. Cars with beautiful designs that still…
