There is a quiet shift in how we experience daily life. In an era of constant notifications and digital noise, our devices shouldn’t compete for our attention. Ferrari has been in the spotlight recently, and not in a good way. The recent debut of the all-electric Luce has sparked controversy regarding the Italian automaker’s departure from its former design principles and brand identity. Automotive Most people buy car insurance, file it away, and don’t think about it again until renewal time — at which point the default move is to accept whatever the new premium is and move on. It’s understandable. Insurance documents aren’t designed for casual reading, and the urgency to actually dig into one tends to disappear once the immediate need of getting covered is handled. That passivity has a cost. Coverage needs change as life changes, and a policy that was appropriate two years ago may have gaps that matter now. Rates that seemed competitive at the time…

I’ve been a fan of Philips Hue smart lights since the early days. It’s one of the few staples in my ever-changing smart home. However, when the Bridge Pro launched late last year, it wasn’t immediately obvious why I should upgrade. The signature feature, MotionAware — which turns your lights into motion sensors — is neat, but I already have motion sensors. While I run two of Hue’s standard bridges to accommodate all my lights and accessories, I’m not at a point where I need the Pro’s higher device capacity. I like the idea of faster response times thanks to…

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted Amazon an extension on its Leo satellite internet deployment, according to a ruling released on June 5. Amazon was supposed to launch over 1,600 Leo satellites, half of its planned constellation, by July 30th. However, the company requested an extension in January due to rocket capacity issues and changes to its satellite design.  “[The] waiver serves the public interest by promoting a second large satellite broadband constellation” along with SpaceX, the FCC wrote in its ruling. “In this case, strict adherence to the rules would curtail Amazon Leo’s deployment of its Gen1 constellation…

Indian has been around for a very long time, but under its ownership of the last decade or so, it has chosen to innovate in areas where traditional American tourer/cruiser manufacturers are hesitant to innovate. This is a real fear, because it might alienate a very loyal fan base. Yet, Indian decided to push ahead and change what we thought would never change in American cruisers and tourers: the engine. Indian’s Current Range Is Quite Impressive Indian Polaris Industries is known for its engineering…
