Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), has expanded the availability of the 007 GT in Europe to 16 countries, showing the company is accelerating its push into the overseas luxury car segment.
Zeekr announced Tuesday that the Zeekr 007 GT shooting brake has been officially launched in 16 European countries, with a starting price of 45,990 euros ($52,460).
These markets include Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
The expansion means the Zeekr 007 GT — renamed locally as the Zeekr 7 GT — has significantly widened its European coverage. The model was initially launched in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden in January.
The Zeekr 007 GT is a shooting brake-style model and Zeekr’s second such model after the Zeekr 001. The car first hit the Chinese market in April 2025.
Zeekr describes the model as a “technology shooting brake coupe” and said it is bringing a Chinese shooting brake back to the European home of the segment.
That wording shows the brand is trying to build a differentiated narrative around performance, design and electrification.
Europe is a market with a deep user base for premium wagons and shooting brake models. For Zeekr, the 007 GT expansion is not only a model launch, but also an opportunity to seek a clearer brand positioning in Europe.
In Europe, Zeekr already sells the Zeekr 001, Zeekr X compact SUV (sport utility vehicle) and Zeekr 7X SUV.
The addition of the Zeekr 007 GT gives the brand a more complete product lineup across sedans, SUVs and shooting brake models.
In China, updated versions of the Zeekr 007 and 007 GT were launched in April, both with a limited-time starting price of 193,900 yuan ($28,600) and an official starting price of 203,900 yuan.
Both models were upgraded to a 900-volt high-voltage architecture and support a peak charging rate of 6C.
Zeekr said the updated 007 series can charge from 10% to 80% in about 10 minutes and offers a range of up to 905 kilometers.
Both models also come standard with LiDAR and have been upgraded to Nvidia’s Drive Thor-U smart driving chip.
Recent sales of the 007 series also provide stronger support for Zeekr. The series delivered 9,534 units in June, up 93.90% year-on-year and up 68.50% from May, marking its highest monthly level, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

In the first 6 months of this year, cumulative deliveries of the 007 series reached 29,197 units, up 35.59% year-on-year.
The series contributed 27.11% of Zeekr brand sales in June, showing its rising weight in the brand’s product portfolio.
Zeekr said its shooting brake models have been chosen by more than 380,000 users globally.
The company also said the Zeekr 007 GT became the global shooting brake market’s sales champion in June 2026, helping Zeekr become the global shooting brake sales champion in the first half of 2026.
Those claims highlight Zeekr’s hope that leadership in a niche segment will support its European expansion story.
Zeekr’s move echoes rivals’ actions. Nio will officially launch the five-seat ES8 SUV on July 9.
