Iveco Group has appointed Damiano Cretarola as chief financial officer, effective Nov. 2. He succeeds Anna Tanganelli, who has served as CFO since December 2023. Cretarola will join the company’s senior leadership team and report directly to Olof Persson, CEO of Iveco Group.
Cretarola has been with Iveco Group since its formation in 2022 and most recently served as senior vice-president of planning and controlling. His career with the company’s businesses began in 2004, and he has held a variety of senior finance positions, including regional and business CFO roles at CNH Global and CNH Industrial.
According to the release, Cretarola brings experience in financial planning and analysis, business controlling, accounting, risk management, international strategy, financial reporting and business transformation. Before joining the company, he spent 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland in audit and consulting roles.
In a statement, Persson said Cretarola’s appointment reflects the role he has played in leading the finance organization through periods of significant change, as well as his understanding of the company’s business, financial dynamics and strategic priorities.
