Ram finally dropped the Hellcat supercharged into a proper pavement-tuned pickup to create the ultimate street truck with the 777-horsepower 2027 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, and you can have the first one off the line. Just be prepared to pay big bucks.
Ram has announced that it will auction off the rights to the first example – it won’t actually be built until next year – during Barrett-Jackson’s collector car auction in Las Vegas scheduled for September 11. And to sweeten the deal, Ram will even throw in a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10, the V10-powered precursor to today’s super truck.
All For A Good Cause

The auction will mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and all proceeds from the sale will benefit the charitable organizations UFC Foundation and Folds of Honor, the latter a nonprofit that helps support the children and spouses of fallen or injured military service members and first responders with educational resources.
Ram is the official truck partner of the UFC, whose president and CEO, Dana White, will also be present to help boost bids. As this is a charity sale, meaning the winning bid also gets a tax write off, the final hammer price is almost certain to be much, much higher than the collective value of the two trucks crossing the block. The 2027 1500 Rumble Bee SRT has a starting price of $94,995, while prices for an original 2005 or 2006 Ram SRT-10 tend to start in the low-$20,000 bracket, and that’s if you can even find one up for sale.

But the trucks aren’t standard examples. In fact, they’re one-offs. The 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, when it’s built, will feature Mopar’s new Direct Connection 3.0-liter supercharger upgrade, targeted to deliver more than 900 horsepower.
It will also wear a hand-painted two-tone finish combining a Molten Red Pearl-Coat top with Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat on the lower body. Completing the look will be 22-inch wheels with a satin-black finish, a black center stripe on the hood, and red accents for the “RAM” grille badge and Brembo brake calipers.

The old 1500 SRT-10 keeps its 500-horsepower 8.3-liter V10 unchanged. However, working with truck customizers ProMotorsports and RealTruck, Ram has given the pickup its own two-tone paint finish combining yellow and black hues, plus custom black graphics including a wild nod to the Viper V10 engine under the hood. Some useful features have also been fitted, including RealTruck’s power running boards and soft roll-up tonneau cover.

The new 1500 Rumble Bee lineup is already desirable, especially the Hellcat-equipped SRT. The first build is sure to attract plenty of attention, and Ram is doing a good thing by turning that attention into meaningful charity funds while giving one lucky buyer a truly unique pair of trucks.
Production of the 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, including the one with a VIN ending in 001, will be handled at Stellantis’s Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Saltillo, Mexico. The base Rumble Bee with its 395-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 arrives first, with deliveries starting in the fourth quarter. The mid-range Rumble Bee 392, rated at 470 hp, and flagship Rumble Bee SRT are scheduled for deliveries in the first half of next year.
