Apparently, a four-digit horsepower Corvette is no longer outrageous enough. Rezvani has taken the C8 Corvette formula and pushed it deep into hypercar territory with the new Beast X, an extreme carbon-fiber creation packing a claimed 1,560 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and styling that looks more appropriate for an aircraft carrier than a suburban garage. Based on the bones of Chevrolet’s mid-engine sports car, the Beast X is the latest example of Rezvani taking something already fast and asking how much more ridiculous it can become.
The headline number comes from a twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 working with a hybrid-assisted drivetrain believed to be based on the Corvette E-Ray setup. Rezvani claims the result is enough to send the Beast X from zero to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds. At this level, acceleration figures start becoming difficult to comprehend in normal road-car terms. The standard Corvette is already seriously quick, and Chevrolet now has factory models comfortably into supercar territory, but 1,560 horsepower gives the Beast X a completely different personality. This is less about adding a little extra performance and more about creating something deliberately excessive.
The bodywork certainly matches the numbers. Rezvani replaces the familiar Corvette shape with an all-carbon-fiber exterior featuring dramatic vents, sharp edges, an oversized roof scoop, and proportions that give the car a clear fighter-jet influence. The company says the body was designed with high-speed airflow and stability in mind rather than simply chasing visual drama. Magnesium wheels further reduce weight, with Rezvani claiming a savings of seven pounds per wheel in unsprung mass. That reduction should benefit steering response, braking, and acceleration while also helping the Beast X feel more alert despite the tremendous amount of power on tap.
There is something almost refreshing about a car this unapologetically extreme. Modern performance cars have become remarkably polished, with even 1,000-horsepower machines offering climate control, sophisticated electronics, and enough refinement to handle a grocery run. The Beast X heads in the opposite visual direction. It looks intentionally theatrical and makes no effort to hide its ambitions. Whether someone sees a futuristic hypercar or a Corvette wearing a science-fiction costume will probably depend on personal taste, but there is no denying that Rezvani has created something that should be nearly impossible to mistake for anything else.
Exclusivity will be just as extreme as the performance, with Rezvani planning to build only five Beast X examples. A refundable $1,500 deposit is being accepted to secure a production slot, making this one of those cars most enthusiasts are more likely to encounter at a show or online than in traffic. Still, the Beast X is an interesting reminder of just how much potential remains in the C8 Corvette platform. Chevrolet may have transformed the Corvette into a legitimate mid-engine supercar, but Rezvani has taken that foundation and turned the volume up until the knob practically came off.
