Omega Holdings has acquired the automotive aftermarket business of Wells Vehicle Electronics, L.P., expanding the range of vehicle electronics it provides. The deal includes sensors and other electronic components supplied to the aftermarket.
Chief executive officer Randy Rankin said the Wells aftermarket business fits within Omega Holdings’ existing product categories and will support its distribution network.
Omega Holdings said the Wells unit will continue operating as a standalone business within the company. The integration is expected to improve time in transit, fill rates and quality assurances across Omega Holdings’ brands.

Their strong portfolio of sensors and vehicle electronics complements our existing aftermarket businesses and further strengthens our position in the automotive aftermarket,” said Randy Rankin, CEO of Omega Holdings.
Wells Vehicle Electronics, founded in 1903, supplies electrical components to the automotive industry and continues to focus on electronics for modern vehicle platforms.
