Geely Auto’s (HKEX: 0175) Lynk & Co brand has opened pre-sales for its first wagon, the 07 GT, marking the brand’s formal entry into a new segment.
The hybrid model made its official debut at a Lynk & Co event on Monday, with a pre-sales price range of 165,800 yuan ($24,390) to 185,800 yuan.
Lynk & Co said this price will also be the final retail price. The move differs from the common practice among other brands of setting official prices below pre-sales levels. The Lynk & Co 07 GT will officially go on sale in July.
The model comes in three regular variants, covering both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions. In addition, Lynk & Co has introduced a “Time Limited Edition,” capped at 1,007 units, with a guide price of 208,800 yuan.
The new car carries over Lynk & Co’s The Next Day design language, with a roof-mounted LiDAR and an advanced driver-assistance system as standard across the lineup.
It measures 4,846 millimeters in length, 1,900 millimeters in width and 1,485 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of 2,843 millimeters.
The Lynk & Co 07 GT is built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) and the EM-P intelligent hybrid platform.
It is equipped with a 28.3 kWh battery, and the two-wheel-drive version offers a combined CLTC range of up to 1,422 kilometers.
The performance-oriented four-wheel-drive version delivers a combined maximum system power of 390 kW (523 hp), with zero-to-100 km/h acceleration under five seconds.
This version is also upgraded with MRC magnetorheological suspension and offers optional sport packages, including a dry carbon fiber rear wing.
The Lynk & Co 07 GT features a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, an AR-HUD head-up display, and the Lynk Flyme Auto 2.5 smart cockpit system. The system uses a 5-nanometer chip and delivers 30 TOPS of AI computing power.
The wagon project is part of Lynk & Co’s broader product expansion strategy. The company is seeking to strengthen its competitiveness in the smart electric vehicle race.
Notably, the 07 GT enters a price band that was previously sparsely contested. Most wagons launched in the domestic market over the past year started above 200,000 yuan.
Lynk & Co was founded in 2017 as a joint venture between Geely Auto and Volvo Cars. Its sister brand Zeekr already offers two pure-electric shooting brake-style models, the Zeekr 007 GT and the Zeekr 001.
In November 2024, Zeekr announced a series of deals that would give it a 51% stake in Lynk & Co. The transaction was completed in February 2025.
The 07 GT’s launch comes as Lynk & Co faces pressure on its own sales. The brand sold 20,732 units in May, down 24.97% year-on-year.
By contrast, parent company Geely Auto posted steady overall results, driven mainly by its export business. The company’s total sales reached 237,637 units in May, up a slight 1.03% year-on-year.
Exports have become Geely Auto’s largest growth engine. The company sold a record 85,144 vehicles overseas in May, surging 183.65% year-on-year.
Its domestic sales, however, came in at 152,493 units in May, down 25.68% year-on-year.
The tri-motor, four-wheel-drive rugged SUV boasts a combined system power of 830 kW (1,113 hp).
