APEX by BendPak has launched the AL9LC two-post floorplate lift, a 9,000‑lb capacity solution designed for professional shops and home garages with limited ceiling height. By eliminating the overhead crossbar common to many two‑post lifts, the floorplate design maximizes overhead clearance, making it easier to service taller vehicles in compact workspaces.
The AL9LC is designed to handle a wide range of vehicles, from sports cars to full‑size pickups. Flexible arm positioning allows for both symmetric and asymmetric lifting, while triple‑telescoping front arms and dual‑stage rear arms provide access to a broad range of OEM lifting points. Safety features include automatic locks that engage every three inches, automatic arm restraints, and double‑telescoping screw pads with stackable adapters for secure vehicle contact.
“Low ceilings and limited budgets don’t have to dictate a shop’s potential,” said Tyler Rex, senior director of marketing at BendPak. “The APEX AL9LC brings premium, uncompromised power to compact workspaces at a price point that makes sense.”
Built for long‑term durability, the lift features high‑strength steel construction, oversized base plates, and a heavy‑duty 6‑inch by 6‑inch tubular steel carriage. A chain‑over lifting design with an industrial‑grade leaf chain is engineered to withstand repeated lifting cycles, while self‑lubricating guide blocks and oversized rollers help reduce wear and maintenance requirements.
