The hybrid SUV is offered in 2 variants. The 315-km rear-wheel-drive Max version starts at 195,800 yuan, while the 300-km four-wheel-drive Ultra version starts at 225,800 yuan.
Under the CLTC standard, the 2 variants have combined ranges of 1,470 kilometers and 1,310 kilometers, respectively, with a full tank and full charge.
The key upgrade is the battery, with both versions equipped with a 50-kWh BYD Blade Battery, significantly extending their battery-only range.
Previous Tai 7 DM variants use 26.6-kWh and 35.6-kWh battery packs, offering CLTC battery-only ranges of 135 kilometers to 200 kilometers and a starting price of 179,800 yuan.
Charging capability has also been upgraded. Maximum charging power has increased to 158 kW from 73 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in 13.9 minutes, about 20% faster than the regular versions.
The powertrain remains a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The engine has a maximum output of 115 kW, while the single-motor version has a 200-kW electric motor and the dual-motor version has a combined output of 360 kW. The quickest variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The 315-km rear-wheel-drive Max version can be equipped with the LiDAR-based God’s Eye B driver-assistance system for an additional 12,000 yuan, supporting urban navigation-assisted driving.
The Tai 7 measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width and 1,865 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. It comes standard with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system.
The model retains its boxy styling, dual L-shaped taillights and side-hinged tailgate.
The plug-in hybrid Tai 7 was launched in September 2025, while the all-electric Tai 7 EV flash charging version was launched on April 29 this year with a starting price of 199,800 yuan.
