Canadians remain hesitant about autonomous driving technology despite the growing availability of hands-free and driver-assistance systems, according to a new survey from Rates.ca. The research found that 13 per cent of Canadians would consider buying a vehicle with autonomous or hands-free driving features within the next two years, while 65 per cent said they are not interested in ownership. Waymo — the Alphabet-owned driverless taxi service which has seen a rapid expansion in recent years — is rolling out a new rewards program today.  The service is called Waymo Premier, and it promises priority pickups along with a 10 percent in-app rebate applied to future rides. MG will preview the design of its forthcoming electric supermini with a new concept car that’s due to be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Teaser images released by MG showcase the front and rear flanks of the hatchback, hinting at a fresh design language distinct from recent models such as the 4 EV Urban and S5 EV.
