The Ranger division of BendPak has introduced the RWL175 pneumatic wheel lift, designed to help technicians safely and efficiently mount heavy wheel and tire assemblies on wheel balancers. As wheel assemblies continue to increase in size and weight, the RWL175 allows a single technician to lift and position assemblies weighing up to 175 pounds, reducing physical strain and improving shop productivity.

The RWL175 is especially suited for modern custom and heavy‑duty wheels that require lug‑centric mounting. These applications can make one‑person installation difficult and increase the risk of damage to rims, balancer shafts, adapters, or operator injury. The lift securely supports the wheel during alignment, allowing technicians to guide it smoothly onto the balancer shaft with greater control and reduced risk.

Compact and air‑operated, the RWL175 features a space‑saving design that fits under or in front of most wheel balancers, regardless of brand. The technician rolls the wheel onto the lowered platform, activates the air control, and raises the assembly to the correct height. A sliding platform enables precise positioning, protecting threads, cones, and wheel finishes while speeding up the mounting process.

“Physically wrestling large wheels onto a balancer shaft can strain technicians’ backs, shoulders, and patience,” said Sean Price, director of product development at BendPak. “The RWL175 acts like an extra set of hands, improving safety while increasing throughput.”
