Ford is giving the Bronco one of its boldest factory-backed looks yet with the new Desert Rising package, a colorful tribute to the landscapes around Utah’s Great Salt Lake. Offered through Ford Custom Garage as the first entry in the new Horizon Series, the Desert Rising treatment takes the Bronco Outer Banks and adds a mix of magenta, white, and desert-inspired graphics that make it impossible to miss. This is not the usual rugged blackout package or trail-ready trim with subtle badges. It is bright, expressive, and clearly built for buyers who want their Bronco to stand out before it ever reaches the trail.

The inspiration comes from the pink tones found around the Great Salt Lake region, including cactus blooms, salt flats, and surrounding desert dunes. Outside, the package adds a light pink grille surround, a dark magenta Bronco nameplate, white Method wheels, a white bucking Bronco emblem at the rear, and available side graphics with abstract sand dune shapes in various pink tones. Those graphics are optional for buyers who like the color theme but want to dial back the full visual statement.

Inside, the Desert Rising package keeps the theme going with two-tone magenta-and-black Katzkin seats, matching pink stitching, pink grab-handle accents, and a serialized center console badge. The package is available on Bronco Outer Banks models finished in Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray, or Ruby Red. It also fits into Ford’s broader customization push, which brings Genuine Ford Accessories, Ford Racing Parts, and Ford Custom Garage closer together so buyers can personalize vehicles with factory-backed parts, available installation, and warranty coverage.

The Desert Rising package is limited to 1,000 units and adds $13,695 to the price of a Bronco Outer Banks. That is not a small premium, especially for a mostly appearance-focused package, but Ford clearly believes there is demand for limited-run factory customization with a strong theme and collector-like appeal. If this is the first taste of the Horizon Series, future Bronco packages could lean into other landscapes, colors, and regional inspirations. For now, the Desert Rising Bronco proves Ford is willing to have some fun with the badge, even if that fun comes in a very bright shade of pink.
