    • The Geely Galaxy TT Ultra features a one-touch boost mode, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
    • It has a CLTC range of 650 kilometers and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 11.6 minutes.

Geely Auto’s (HKEX: 0175) Galaxy brand began pre-sales of the Galaxy TT Ultra sedan on Tuesday at 209,800 yuan ($30,900), with the initial release limited to 999 units.

During the pre-sales period, customers can pay a 2,000-yuan deposit that will be credited as 5,000 yuan toward the purchase price. They will also receive equipment benefits worth 49,000 yuan and can choose between 3-year interest-free financing and a 5-year low-interest plan.

The Galaxy TT is positioned as a sporty, handling-focused C-segment electric sedan and made its global debut in Shanghai on July 6.

The Ultra is the higher-end version, and its final price could come in below 200,000 yuan. Lower- and mid-tier variants of the model line are expected to follow.

The vehicle measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,919 mm in width and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm.

Its fastback coupe profile is paired with a concealed power-operated rear spoiler, helping deliver a drag coefficient as low as Cd 0.22.

The Galaxy TT Ultra uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with a 180-kW motor at the front and a 245-kW motor at the rear. The system produces a combined 425 kW, or 570 hp.

It features a one-touch boost mode that provides 20 seconds of enhanced output, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.

The vehicle is equipped with a 75.2-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 650 kilometers.

Supported by an 800-volt silicon carbide (SiC) platform and 6C ultra-fast charging technology, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 11.6 minutes.

The new model is also the first to use Geely’s 16-in-1 Intelligent E-Drive system, which has 3.2 times the integration level of its predecessor and eliminates more than 180 redundant components. It is also 4 kilograms lighter than comparable 12-in-1 electric-drive systems.

The e-drive housing is made using an integrated magnesium-alloy die-casting process. The motor has a power density of 11.8 kW/kg, while the system delivers combined electric-drive efficiency of 93.8% under CLTC conditions and frees up an additional 28 liters of trunk storage space.

The Galaxy TT Ultra comes with an Nvidia Thor-U chip and equipped with 1 LiDAR sensor. It uses the Geely Afari Smart Driving H7, or G-ASD H7, assisted-driving system, supporting urban Navigation on Autopilot, highway Navigation on Autopilot and automated parking.

The chassis uses a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension setup. It is also equipped with a CCD predictive Magic Carpet variable-damping suspension system that detects road conditions in real time and adjusts damping stiffness accordingly.

The Ultra version is available with an exclusive blue paint finish and model-specific equipment including a carbon-fiber sports body kit.

    The cabin runs Flyme Auto 2 and features a 10.2-inch instrument display, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen and a 25.6-inch augmented-reality head-up display.

All Galaxy TT variants use batteries supplied by CATL (HKEX: 3750), with pack capacities of 52.4 kWh, 63.8 kWh and 75.2 kWh. The model line offers a maximum electric range of 725 kilometers and is expected to officially launch in August.

The pre-sales comes as the Galaxy brand returns to growth. It sold 108,206 vehicles in June, up 19.93% year-on-year and ending 5 consecutive months of declines.

The rugged plug-in hybrid SUV delivers a combined system output of 830 kW, or 1,113 hp, and can wade through water as deep as 800 mm.
