    • Li i6 delivered 21,453 units in June, accounting for a 69.44% share of Li Auto’s total deliveries.
    • The extended-range SUV Li L9 delivered 6,106 units in June, soaring 137.59% from the prior month.

Li Auto’s (NASDAQ: LI) June model deliveries extended a clear divergence, with the revamped flagship Li L9 staging a strong rebound while the all-electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) Li i6 continued to hold the top spot.

The Chinese EV maker delivered 30,895 vehicles in June, down 14.84% from a year earlier and also a 7.36% decline from May.

Within the extended-range lineup, the Li L9 emerged as the month’s biggest highlight. The revamped flagship SUV delivered 6,106 units in June, soaring 137.59% from the prior month and rising 24.79% year-on-year — a rare gain for the model in recent months.

It contributed 19.76% of total deliveries for the month, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

The updated Li L9 went on sale on May 15, with its premium Livis variant securing more than 10,000 firm orders within two weeks of launch.

For the January-June period, the Li L9 delivered a cumulative 12,807 units, down 51.92% from a year earlier and contributing 6.62% of Li Auto’s total deliveries over the same period.

The remaining L-series models were broadly pressured by generational transition cycles. As Li Auto’s entry-level model and one of its historically best-selling vehicles, the Li L6 delivered just 915 units in June, plunging 94.44% year-on-year and dropping sharply by 81.64% from May, contributing only 2.96% of the month’s deliveries.

Li Auto announced earlier today that it will officially launch the next-generation Li L6 on July 16, a key step in the comprehensive renewal of its L-series extended-range models.

According to local media outlet Leiphone, driven by rising prices of memory chips and lithium carbonate, the combined per-vehicle cost of the next-generation Li L6 has increased by more than 14,000 yuan ($2,060), and the model may see a price hike at launch.

The Li L7 delivered 754 units in June, down 90.89% year-on-year and down 69.41% from May, accounting for 2.44% of total deliveries. It is currently the only L-series model for which no revamp plans have been announced.
