A new trade exhibition for Canada’s automotive aftermarket and broader automotive industry is coming in 2027 with the launch of Autoteknik Canada.

A business-to-business event designed to connect suppliers, distributors, repair professionals, fleets, dealers and technology providers, it’s organized by Toronto-based ExhibitIQ Media Inc. The inaugural event will take place June 9-11, 2027, at The International Centre in Toronto alongside TLB Expo Canada.

In an announcement, organizers said the events will create a marketplace covering automotive parts and components, repair and garage technology, tires, lubricants, batteries, workshop equipment and emerging mobility technologies.

The new show aims to provide a dedicated annual meeting place for Canada’s automotive aftermarket at a time when vehicle technology, electrification and changing ownership patterns are reshaping the industry.

“Canada’s automotive aftermarket is a dynamic and growing sector,” said Jasmeet Bakshi, co-founder of ExhibitIQ Media. He noted that the Canadian aftermarket was valued at US$22.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach US$29 billion by 2032, creating demand for an event that connects suppliers, service providers and buyers from across the industry.

Toronto was selected as the host city because of its status as Canada’s largest automotive hub and its proximity to manufacturers, distributors, dealers and aftermarket businesses, the announcement said.

“The city provides an ideal meeting point for the industry,” said Syed Ali Akbar, co-founder of ExhibitIQ Media. “The event will create an opportunity for businesses to discover new technologies, strengthen partnerships and prepare for the next phase of growth.”

The exhibition will feature products and services spanning a wide range of automotive aftermarket categories, including automotive parts and components, workshop equipment and repair tools, diagnostics, electronics and vehicle software, batteries and energy storage systems, tires, lubricants and fluids, collision repair products, and automotive accessories and service solutions.

Industry stakeholders have also voiced support for the initiative.

The event is also attracting international interest. Representatives from European and South Korean industry organizations said the show will provide opportunities for suppliers to connect with Canadian buyers and explore growth opportunities in North America.

Organizers expect the inaugural edition to feature more than 250 exhibitors, attract over 5,000 automotive professionals and include more than 25 speakers participating in educational sessions, conferences and knowledge-sharing programs.
