“What a super-sports car must provide is not only acceleration and speed, but also emotion,” said Racchetti. “That’s why we went for a hybrid architecture, because at the end of the day you still have the turbocharged internal combustion engine able to rev to 10,000 rpm, giving you the strong emotionality that only mechanics can provide.” So, although the twin-turbo V8 relies on three electric motors for hybrid assistance, it still feels raw, visceral, and packed full of Lambo charm.
That 10,000-rpm redline is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on those who take the Temerario for a spin, but other factors are also at play here. “Hybridization is also helping us deliver the kind of performance you experienced in the Temerario, while widening the opportunities for characterization and driving dynamics,” Racchetti told CarExpert, referring to the vehicle’s 13 different driving configurations.
“That’s the secret. You’re driving a car with this level of performance, but the car is really easy to drive and gives you a lot of confidence because the electronics are helping you achieve the performance in a seamless way.” And, to end, he once again emphasized the need for exotics to really form a deep emotional connection with drivers.

With its high-revving, four-liter V8 and trio of electric motors, the Temerario can spawn a combined output of 907 horsepower. It can hit 62 mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds and keep working its way up to a top speed of 213 mph, all while sounding utterly magnificent.
Torque can be distributed asymmetrically to the front wheels courtesy of the electric motors, making the car’s handling incredibly responsive and predictable. Lamborghini achieved a 25% increase in torsional rigidity over the Huracán and, heck, there’s even a configurable three-level Drift Mode for you to play with if you’re feeling adventurous.
