Bosch plans to reorganize its corporate structure by transferring its Mobility business sector and several central service units in Germany into separate subsidiaries within the Bosch Group.
According to the company, the restructuring will create a dedicated Mobility subsidiary alongside separate entities for Bosch Digital, Global Business Services and Global Real Estate. The new structure is scheduled to take effect Aug. 1, 2027, with the broader transition continuing through the end of 2027.
Bosch said the move is intended to improve competitiveness through greater customer focus, increased flexibility, stronger entrepreneurship and faster decision-making.
The company said approximately 62,500 employees in Germany, most of them within the Mobility business sector, are expected to transfer to the new subsidiaries.
“As a separate subsidiary, Mobility will remain the largest business sector within the Bosch Group,” said Dr. Markus Heyn, deputy chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH and chairman of the Mobility business sector.
According to Bosch, the new structure will allow the Mobility business to integrate operations more closely, respond more quickly to market changes and customer requirements, and pursue new partnerships and business models.
In 2025, Bosch’s Mobility business generated sales of €55.8 billion, representing about 60 per cent of total group revenue.
