AAPEX is introducing a redesigned exhibit floor and a new dedicated Forum space for its 2026 show, aiming to improve navigation, streamline exhibitor access and enhance the overall attendee experience.
The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo said the updated layout centres on the AAPEX Forum, a new building adjacent to The Venetian Convention Center that will allow for more efficient exhibitor organization and eliminate the need for overflow sections.
The change builds on exhibitor segmentation introduced last year, which grouped companies by product category. Organizers said the updated layout ensures all exhibitors within a category are located together, addressing a key concern from buyers who wanted to meet suppliers without having to move across the entire show floor.
“The new layout was well‑received among attendees,” said Liz Goad, vice‑president of events at MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, noting the show achieved its highest ever net promoter score following last year’s event. “We have worked with exhibitors and buyers alike to create a plan that’s easy to navigate and fosters a high‑energy business atmosphere.”
AAPEX Forum
The AAPEX Forum will host several major show functions, including the opening reception, general sessions and booths for the show’s organizing associations. It will also feature product categories such as accessories and lighting and undercar components.
The Forum improves accessibility for attendees, close to a Las Vegas Monorail station, bus routes and shuttle services connecting to hotels and the co‑located SEMA show, according to organizers.
New attendee amenities will also be introduced, including a “Buyer’s Rest Stop” offering refreshments and seating, along with complimentary daily lunches for buyers.
Venetian Expo layout
Within The Venetian Expo, the show floor is being reorganized across two levels.
Level 2 will feature a range of categories, including business services, AI and e‑commerce, diagnostics, EV and alternative fuels, tire servicing, tools and equipment and underhood components. It will also host the expanded food truck area, a media hub and press conference space.
Joe’s Garage, the show’s hands‑on training area featuring fully operational service bays, is moving to Level 2 and will be located near Podcast Row, which provides space for media and content creators.
Level 1 will continue to house international sourcing and pavilion areas.
The updated layout reflects growing emphasis on technology, EV service and training within the aftermarket, while also improving access to food, media resources and networking areas.
“AAPEX continuously looks for ways to bring more buyers and exhibitors to the show and enhance the experience for everyone who attends,” said Mark Bogdansky, vice‑president of trade shows and community engagement at the Auto Care Association.
Focus on efficiency, business outcomes
The changes are designed to make it easier for attendees to connect with suppliers, attend sessions and move efficiently throughout the show’s more than 500,000 square feet of exhibit space, organizers said.
The improvements build on AAPEX’s broader push to emphasize business outcomes, with a layout intended to reduce friction for buyers and create more opportunities for meetings and deal‑making.
AAPEX 2026 will take place Nov. 3 to 5 in Las Vegas. Early registration is priced at $50 until June 26, rising to $75 through Sept. 25 and $100 thereafter. Qualified students and media are eligible for complimentary passes.
