The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has promoted Ethan Love to an expanded role as category manager – strategic suppliers, strengthening its focus on supplier alignment and data‑driven category growth across the network.
In the new position, Love will work closely with supplier partners and Alliance leadership to support category performance, improve program alignment and drive long‑term value for shareholders and channel partners.
“Ethan has consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of both the operational and strategic sides of our business throughout his career with the Alliance,” said Justin Hebert, vice‑president of category management. “His background in technology, data services and category analysis gives him a unique perspective that will help strengthen supplier relationships and improve category performance.”
Love joined the Alliance in 2014 as a category analyst before moving into the information technology group in 2018, where he served as business intelligence manager. Most recently, he held the role of senior manager of business intelligence and data services, helping lead initiatives focused on data‑driven decision‑making, connectivity and operational efficiency across the Alliance network.
During his time in IT, Love played a key role in the development of the Alliance’s technology suite, including business intelligence tools, data services and platform integration supporting shareholders, national accounts and industry partners.
In his new role, Love will return to a category management focus while applying insights gained from his work in data and technology to strengthen supplier partnerships and support growth initiatives.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to return to category management in this expanded capacity and continue building strong partnerships across the industry,” Love said. “My experience in both category management and information technology has provided a unique perspective on how data, supplier collaboration and strategic planning can work together to create meaningful value.”
