Toyota is back at it with another shadowy teaser, and this one looks aimed squarely at American families who live in the three-row world. After last month’s first glimpse sparked plenty of guessing, Toyota followed up with a new interior-focused teaser and a clear message that something bigger is coming on February 10, 2026. The vibe from Toyota’s own wording leans into versatility, which usually means space, practicality, and a vehicle meant to do real daily duty, not just look pretty in a press photo.

We dug into the first teaser last week here on Automotive Addicts, and the blocky silhouette had us thinking this was more SUV than pickup. Now the second teaser backs that up by shifting the camera inside, where you can clearly make out second-row captain’s chairs and what appears to be a third row tucked behind them once the image is brightened. That third row detail is the tell, because it narrows the field to Toyota’s family-hauler territory in a hurry.

Naturally, the name everyone keeps circling is the Toyota Highlander, especially since this segment is due for fresh energy and Toyota has been steadily modernizing its cabin tech across the lineup. The teaser also hints at a big central screen that looks in line with Toyota’s latest infotainment direction seen on newer products like the Toyota RAV4, plus there’s a large glass roof that gives the cabin an airier, more upscale feel. A short social clip also suggests more extensive ambient lighting than we’re used to seeing in this class from Toyota, which is a nice way to make a family SUV feel less appliance-like at night.

The other big question is powertrain, and the internet is already buzzing about whether this could be Toyota’s long-anticipated three-row EV play for the U.S. market. Toyota is not confirming anything yet, but the timing and the “big energy” phrasing are exactly the kind of breadcrumb trail brands use when they want everyone talking before the curtain lifts. Either way, February 10 is close, and if this really is Toyota’s next step in three-row versatility, it could be one of the more important mainstream SUV reveals of the year for American buyers.
