The Newest Lamborghini Costs Just $5,000, But Only A Baby Would Want It

Lamborghini has launched a new four-wheeled vehicle that’s unlike its typical offerings. Sure it fits the bill in many ways, having four wheels, few seats, and high-quality materials. It’s even a limited edition. However, the lack of an engine, or even motors, and the fact it’s made for someone who might not even be a year old yet makes it unusual. Yes, it’s a Lamborghini stroller.

This Lamborghini Is Made By The British

What makes this new Lamborghini even weirder is that it’s really made by a British company. Lamborghini partnered with Silver Cross, the company that claims to have invented the stroller (or “pram” to the Brits) way back in 1877. It’s not even really a unique stroller, either, as it’s based on the existing Silver Cross Reef, and Lamborghini lets the company add Lamborghini design touches.

The whole stroller is black, finished with leather and suede. Panels are sewn together with contrasting yellow stitching, since this is the Giallo version, not the earlier Arancio (orange) version. The rear struts get bright yellow accents, and you’ll find the raging bull Lamborghini logo in the round spots on each side, along with an embroidered rendition inside. A few other yellow panels appear, too. Perhaps the most impressive addition, though, is the real aluminum brake pedal for parking the stroller.

On the practical side of things, the Silver Cross Lamborghini stroller has a few configurations. It can be set up for lie-flat or sit-up positions, with the latter facing either forward or rearward. It can also be folded up for easier transport. The seat can be removed and fitted to a compatible car seat, perfect if you’re getting this to match your Urus. Plus, there are various shades, nets, and rain covers for different weather. It even has a cupholder.

It Has Lamborghini Pricing And Availability

You’ve already seen the price, which is a steep $4,999.99. The base version of the Silver Cross Reef stroller is far cheaper, though it’s still not exactly a bargain with a price tag of $1,199.99. The regular version also lacks the exclusivity of the Lamborghini-branded one. Only 500 will be sold worldwide in the yellow color. It’s also the last collaboration between the two companies, so don’t expect any other color options to come up anytime soon.

CarBuzz Insight – Why This Matters:

Even though Lamborghini has been selling a four-door SUV for years now, one that’s actually practical thanks to VW Group underpinnings, it’s still bizarre to imagine a Lamborghini stroller. Do you really think of responsible family life when you think of Lamborghini? However, we’re sure there are definitely families that take their kids around in Uruses, and we know that wealthy people love to have matching branded gear for their fancy vehicles. It’s not like luxury car-branded merchandise is a new thing. Multiple luxury car companies have branded fashion lines and other knick-knacks. Ferrari is perhaps most infamous for slapping its logo and a bunch of red accents on all manner of goods to sell at big mark-ups. This stroller is just the continuation of a long luxury car tradition.
