One of the most technologically ambitious hypercars of the 21st century is about to get its first public price tag. RM Sotheby’s has announced that a 2025 Czinger 21C — a California-built, 1,250-horsepower hybrid limited to just 80 examples worldwide — will cross the auction block during Monterey Car Week, estimated at $2,300,000–$2,500,000. It is the first Czinger 21C ever offered at public auction, making this a genuine market milestone for a car that has, until now, existed almost entirely outside the traditional collector ecosystem.

The specific example heading to Monterey is a High Downforce (HDF) variant finished in Artemis Yellow with exposed carbon fiber dual GT stripes, showing only 523 miles at the time of cataloguing. It carries more than $133,600 in factory options and comes with a copy of its original window sticker — details that matter to serious collectors evaluating a car with no public auction comparables to lean on.

A Manufacturing Philosophy Unlike Anything Else In Production

    RM Sotheby’s

Czinger Vehicles was founded in California by Lukas Czinger with a clear ambition: build a production car unconstrained by conventional manufacturing logic. The company’s proprietary Bio-Logic Engineering approach combines advanced computational design with additive manufacturing — specifically, laser-metal 3D printing — to produce structural components that traditional stamping or casting simply cannot replicate. More than 20 percent of the 21C’s structure is manufactured this way, making it the first production vehicle developed entirely around that philosophy.

The result is a car whose architecture is shaped by performance and material efficiency rather than tooling limitations. For collectors and engineering enthusiasts alike, that distinction is significant: the 21C isn’t a car that uses 3D printing as a novelty feature. It’s a car that exists because of it.

Performance Credentials Built On California Asphalt

    RM Sotheby’s

The 21C’s powertrain is an in-house developed twin-turbocharged 2.88-liter V-8 hybrid system producing a combined 1,250 horsepower. That output is paired with road-legal status in all 50 US states — a combination that puts it in rare company among hypercars at this performance level.

Czinger backed the numbers with track time through its “California Gold Rush” program, during which the 21C set production-car lap records at five of California’s premier racing circuits. Those records give the car a documented performance legacy that auction bidders can point to, and they reinforce the HDF specification’s purpose: this is the variant built specifically to maximize downforce and circuit capability without sacrificing street legality.

What This Auction Moment Means For The Collector Market

“This offering represents an exciting milestone for both Czinger and the collector car market,” said Gord Duff, President of RM Sotheby’s. “As the first Czinger 21C ever to cross the auction block, it gives collectors the opportunity to acquire one of the most innovative and forward-thinking performance cars of the 21st century.”

That framing is accurate in a practical sense: with only 80 examples produced and no prior public auction results, the Monterey sale will establish the first real market data point for the model. The $2.3–$2.5 million estimate reflects the car’s original positioning as a flagship hypercar, but the hammer price — wherever it lands — will set the baseline that future sellers and buyers reference. For a car this new and this rare, that’s a consequential moment. The Artemis Yellow HDF on offer, with its low mileage, full options list, and window sticker, is about as strong a first example as the market could ask for.

The Czinger 21C hits the RM Sotheby’s block during Monterey Car Week 2026. For collectors who have been watching the brand from a distance, this is the first real chance to step in — and whatever the result, the automotive world will be paying attention.
