The Apollo Evo is a V12-powered beast with a design like nothing else and more aerodynamic parts sticking out than a porcupine has quills. Now the German automaker has revealed the very first car made to customer spec, and the Caribbean Dragon turns it into something even more special. With diamonds.

At the heart of the Apollo Evo is a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12. The 789 horsepower engine sends all of its efforts to the rear tires through a six-speed sequential box, but it can still to zero to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds.
This track car starts with eight layers of hand-applied paint, which is probably enough to ensure it never sees a track in anger. The highly reflective white has been infused with a Diamond Dust finish. It creates a crystal sparkle under the sunlight, leaning into the dragon-like shapes of the car.
Caribbean comes from the blue carbon fiber. Apollo wanted the color to bring out “the depth and clarity” of the waters in that part of the world. The company says that light, contrast, and individuality define the spec. Each car has more than 75 individual carbon fiber elements. Each one of this car was painted and finished by hand. Paintwork alone for this car took more than 1,000 hours to complete.

After a few years of development, the hypercar that looks like it belongs in a Transformers movie is ready to hit the track.
Under the studio lights of the render, the Evo’s sparkling white and deep blue don’t exactly pop. The German car company hasn’t posted any images from outside, though, preventing us from giving you the full experience.
Inside Is Even More Exquisite Than Outside

Butterfly doors open up to an interior that is as wild as the exterior. Matching bright white and ocean blue leather cover the seating surfaces and more, while blue contrast stitching and Apollo logo embroidery help add a subtle pop. That contrast stitch might be the only subtle detail about the car.
A lattice-like framework for the center console is another highlight, and while you can’t see it in every image, the interior carbon fiber has a blue tint to match the outside. It’s even on the steering wheel, with its massive shift paddles.
Last but not least is the exhaust, which isn’t blue (yet) but it will be. The Dragon Skin exhaust is a one-piece 3D-printed titanium part. There are no welds, no bolts, just an exquisite finish. The natural titanium finish will transform when heated, so if the owner takes this track car to the circuit, the exhaust will develop a deep blue tint from the extreme temperatures.
Dragon is a running theme with the Evo, along with the roadgoing Intensa Emozione that came before it. Look at the car from the back, with its fins and that Dragon Skin exhaust, and it’s not hard to understand the reptilian allure of the machine.

One previous car, the Intensa Ocean Dragon, has already come up for sale. Its name, Ocean, came from the blue-green color-shifting carbon fiber. Expect nine more Evos to make their appearance, with each one wearing a mix of colors and finishes that make it different from all the rest.
