Bentley is giving its new Supersports an even sharper visual edge with the debut of Design Theme by Mulliner, an exclusive specification created for customers who want their performance Bentley to make a serious statement before the engine even fires. Set to make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new Mulliner theme introduces a first for Bentley: an exterior paint fade that runs from one side of the car to the other.
The idea is fitting for the Supersports, which Bentley has positioned as a more driver-focused expression of grand touring performance. A bold highlight color starts on the driver’s side and gradually blends across the body into a darker tone on the opposite side. Adding to the asymmetrical effect, a single off-center stripe runs from front to rear, aligned with the passenger seat. No matter whether the car is left-hand drive or right-hand drive, the theme is designed around the driver.
Bentley will offer three curated versions of Design Theme by Mulliner. Dragon pairs Dragon Red fading into Black Crystal with a Hotspur and Beluga interior for the most dramatic look of the trio. Electric blends Electric Blue into Dark Sapphire outside, matched with a vivid Klein Blue and Imperial Blue cabin. Brodgar takes a more understated approach, using Pale Brodgar fading into Brodgar on the exterior with Camel and Beluga tones inside.
The cabin treatment is just as intentional as the paintwork. The Supersports remains a two-seat-only model, reinforcing its performance-first personality, and the Mulliner theme divides the cabin visually with the brighter tone surrounding the driver and the darker color reserved for the passenger side. Full Leather Specification is included, along with a unique Supersports perforation pattern on the seats and door inserts, contrast stitching on the dashboard and headrests, and a gear lever matched to the driver’s seat.
Bentley is also layering in plenty of motorsport-inspired visual detail outside. The Supersports wears a number eight on the front grille, along with accent pinstripes on the carbon diffusers, fender blades, and sills. The result is more than a color package. It is a carefully staged design statement that leans into the Supersports’ dual personality as both a handcrafted luxury car and a more focused performance machine.
