Sean Stokes of Canadian Tire Corporation has been awarded the Art Fisher Memorial Award, the highest recognition presented by Federated Auto Parts, during the recent Automotive Parts Services Group conference.
The award was presented by Federated CEO Sue Godschalk and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to Federated, its members and the broader aftermarket industry.
“The Art Fisher Memorial Award is the highest distinction Federated can present to a member, and this year we are proud to honour Sean Stokes for his outstanding dedication to the mission and values of Federated,” said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts. He said the award reflects Stokes’ leadership, engagement and contributions to the organization and its membership.
Stokes has more than 22 years of experience with Canadian Tire Corporation and currently serves as vice-president of automotive parts merchandising and general manager of PartSource. Since assuming that role in 2017, he has overseen automotive category growth and merchandising initiatives across the company’s retail operations.
Throughout his career at Canadian Tire, Stokes has held a variety of senior leadership positions focused on merchandising, operations and data-driven retail strategy. He has also served on the Canadian Marketing Association’s Ethics and Standards Committee.
“Sean is a valued member of the Federated executive board, and his insight, forward-thinking approach and commitment to collaboration have had a valuable impact on Federated and its membership,” said Godschalk. “His dedication to advancing the success of both Federated and the aftermarket industry makes him highly deserving of this recognition.”
Named after Federated founder Art Fisher, the Art Fisher Memorial Award is presented annually to a Federated member who has demonstrated long-term dedication to the organization’s success through leadership, industry involvement and service to fellow members.
