While the rest of the world sees pickup trucks as purely work vehicles to be used on farms and construction sites, America does it slightly differently. Some are able to cocoon you in the same luxury as a Lincoln, while others can easily beat a Ferrari at the lights. The rise of performance trucks like the insane Ram 1500 TRX has made the segment even more diverse. And by diverse, we mean really expensive.
You can get into a pickup truck for under $30k now with the Ford Maverick, so what happens if you spend over three times that amount? Do you get three times as many features? We’ve compiled a list of some of the most expensive trucks on sale in the US to see if any pickup is really worth this eye-watering amount.

Rivian isn’t afraid to shake things up in the electric truck space, and it’s especially fine with offering trucks over $100k. Both the R1T Tri and Quad (named after the number of motors they have) creep into the six figures. The Tri has more power than you’d ever need at 850 hp and 1,103 lb-ft of torque, and the Quad outpaces most supercars with over 1,000 hp. They can also both get up to 60 miles per hour in under three seconds.
Both of these trucks can tow a total of 11,000 lbs, but the Tri has a slightly higher payload rating of 1,702 pounds, which is seriously impressive for any truck. Thanks to Rivian’s adventuring ability, it comes with an onboard air compressor, underbody shielding, and wooden accents to bring the outside in. With four individual motors to bring maximum performance, we see why this one is so expensive.

Featuring GMC’s premium approach to building trucks and SUVs, it’s no surprise that the GMC Sierra EV creeps over six figures when you include the mandatory destination charge. The interior is much posher than the Silverado EV on which it’s based, and even though there’s no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the Google system works well.
The GMC Sierra EV took all the features we liked about the Silverado EV – huge range, fast charging, the midgate, and Super Cruise – and packaged them into a better truck with a nicer cabin and superior styling. It is now one of our favorites in this segment.
– Jared Rosenholtz, CarBuzz
What we especially love about the Sierra EV is its architecture. The maximum range battery is quoted at 478 miles by GM, and there’s SuperCruise autonomous driving tech to make the most of highway miles. With the max range version, you also get standard air springs and the versatile MultiPro midgate. That lets you use some of the rear cabin space to extend the bed length to 10 feet and 10 inches, which is super handy.

Love it or hate it, the Tesla Cybertruck has gained a cult-like following. While some of the electric trucks on this list might make your big truck purchase fly under the radar, you can show it off proudly, as the blocky shape is pretty eye-catching. Three motors make it all-wheel-drive, and with launch mode on, you get to 60 miles per hour in just 2.6 seconds. To some, this design and associated status are easily worth $100,000.
It’s a statement, but it still works as a truck. Towing capacity sits at 11,000 pounds, the range is 320 miles, and there’s 120 cubic feet of space available. It might not look like a luxury car, but passengers in the back can still enjoy heating, a large central screen, and a panoramic glass roof.

The latest addition to this list is the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX, which comes to empty your wallet and its fuel tank. With the Ford F-150 Raptor R right in its sights, this super truck is powered by a 777-hp, 6.2-liter supercharged V8, making it the fastest gas-powered production truck on sale at the moment, according to the company. A 3.5-second 0-60 time and an insane 12.2-second quarter-mile time are easily possible.
Bilstein shocks with braided hoses, dual-valve technology, and remote reservoirs control all that weight. That helps you carve up the desert like nothing else. Six figures seems reasonable for the truck that revives the SRT brand, and being able to say that your truck is faster than anyone else’s. People will also know you’ve spent all that money thanks to massive graphics and a presence unlike any other.
2026 GMC Hummer EV 3X
Price: $107,995
2026 GMC Hummer EV 3X Specs
Engine
Three-motor, electric
Transmission
Single speed
Power
830 hp
Torque
11,500 lb-ft
The GMC Hummer EV is a huge pickup with a battery that weighs more than some cars, 11,500 lb-ft of torque, and the ability to crab walk thanks to four individual motors. It’s not for everyone, but GMC can easily justify selling this behemoth for almost $108k, since there’s nothing quite like it. Oh, and for the wind in your hair, you can even remove the door and roof panels.
There is so much power on tap that passing slower traffic becomes completely trivial. Just slam the throttle, and the Hummer jumps in front of almost any vehicle. Deploying the three electric motors causes the soft air suspension to lurch the vehicle, squatting the rear end and sending the front end skyward: It truly feels like the Hummer wants to pop a wheelie.
– Jared Rosenholtz, CarBuzz
It’s not efficient, not subtle in the slightest, and won’t be easy to drive in tight spaces, but who cares — you’re paying six figures for every number to be bigger. Even the windshield requires three wipers. You’ll find it tricky to find something that can replace so many cars in one, ranging from the smaller Sienna truck to the Corvette. It’ll be faster and definitely more conspicuous than both.
2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST Max Range (Stars and Steel Edition)

Trucks are already uniquely American, so adding a package called “Stars and Steel” to one is a natural fit. Chevrolet has introduced this package to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, and we can imagine these motors will only go up in value in the years to come. For every car sold with this package, Chevy will also donate $250 towards veterans’ charities.
The Silverado EV is an impressive electric truck even without the extra national pride. The max range battery has an impressive 478-mile range, adaptive air suspension, and even four-wheel steering to make tight spaces easier. While we said the interior might not feel like it’s worth six figures, it makes up for it with its capability and flexibility.

2026 Ford F-150 Raptor R
Price: $114,420
2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Specs
Engine
5.2L supercharged V8
Transmission
10-speed automatic
Power
720 hp
Torque
640 lb-ft
Coming in slightly less expensive than the Rivian R1T Quad is an old favorite. The Ford F-150 Raptor R is the default choice for aiming at the horizon and hitting the gas without stopping. The 5.2L supercharged V8 makes a huge 720 horsepower, 640 lb-ft of torque, and it can put its power down through a ten-speed automatic.
You have to look way ahead, and guide, rather than steer, the truck until you get to tight corners, and the F-150 Raptor R can easily fool you that you’re on stable ground due to the suspension eating up bumps and feeling like you’re just on rough California concrete.
Dual-valve shock absorbers and 37-inch tires make sure that there’s no obstacle in your way that can stop you. You can even add more fun by switching the Raptor to rear-wheel drive only for huge drifts across the desert. We’re not surprised that this is a six-figure car, as buyers aren’t going to be worried about spending extra to get the capability they need. Just make sure you have enough money left over to spend on fuel, which this truck drinks up.
