    • The 2027 Zeekr 7X will retain the current model’s exterior styling, with the 85-kWh version filling the gap between the existing 75-kWh and 103-kWh battery options.
    • Zeekr will continue to offer complimentary options on the current 7X in China until the 2027 model arrives.

Zeekr, the premium brand of Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), said Thursday that the 2027 model-year Zeekr 7X SUV (sport utility vehicle) will go on sale in the fourth quarter.

The new model will retain the exterior styling of the current version while offering new exterior and interior color choices. Zeekr has yet to disclose detailed specifications or pricing.

The main change disclosed so far is the addition of a version equipped with an 85-kWh Golden Battery.

The new option will fill the capacity gap between the current 75-kWh and 103-kWh batteries, giving consumers more choices across range and price points.

Zeekr has not disclosed the 85-kWh version’s CLTC range or charging speed, or whether it will use an 800-volt or 900-volt high-voltage platform.

Until the 2027 model arrives, Zeekr will continue to offer 3 complimentary options on the current 7X in China, valued at a combined 18,999 yuan ($2,800).

The options include a power-adjustable rear-seat sofa valued at 5,000 yuan, a smart refrigerator with heating and cooling valued at 2,999 yuan, and 20-inch multi-spoke wheels valued at 11,000 yuan.

The current Zeekr 7X is available in 3 variants, with starting prices of 229,800 yuan, 249,800 yuan and 269,800 yuan.

The entry-level version has a 75-kWh Golden Battery and is built on an 800-volt platform, offering a CLTC range of 620 kilometers. It can charge from 10% to 80% in 10.5 minutes.

The other 2 versions use 103-kWh CATL (HKEX: 3750) Qilin Battery packs and are built on a 900-volt platform, offering CLTC ranges of 802 kilometers and 715 kilometers, respectively.

Both versions can charge from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. The most powerful dual-motor variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.98 seconds.

The Zeekr 7X was initially launched in September 2024. Zeekr subsequently launched the current version in October 2025 with upgrades to charging, powertrain and driver-assistance features.

That means the company will make another adjustment to the lineup of the key electric SUV about 1 year after its last major update.

The Zeekr 7X is a key sales driver for the brand. Deliveries totaled 62,865 units in the first 7 months of this year, accounting for 29.35% of Zeekr’s deliveries during the period, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
