With a wheelbase of 55.1 inches, curb weight of 476.2 pounds, and a seat height of 31.4 inches, this Triumph roadster has a spirited side that doesn’t shy away from sharp corners.
Triumph Bonneville T120

This is as classic as a big-capacity roadster can get in 2026, and the Triumph Bonnie T120 is all about timeless appeal. Powering this gorgeous roadster is a seasoned 1,200 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. While this is the same mill as the aforementioned Speed Twin 1200, Triumph has toned down the compression ratio and performance to cater to a more laid-back riding experience. So the output is 78.85 horsepower and 77.44 pound-feet.

Elsewhere, the Triumph Bonnie T120 sits on a tubular steel frame suspended on KYB suspension. The front comprises 41 mm forks and the rear gets preload-adjustable twin shocks. Triumph offers gorgeous paint jobs to help the T120 Bonnie stand out. This is further complemented with chrome parts all around. With a seat height of 30.8 inches and a wheelbase of 56.6 inches, the T120 is a fairly accessible roadster too.
BMW R 12

Suzuki’s now-popular 776 cc parallel-twin engine is present here, albeit it’s tuned differently than the GSX-8S. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox.

It is underpinned by a tubular steel chassis, suspended on KYB hardware, adjustable inverted forks up front, and a monoshock at the rear. The 8TT’s unique design cues elevate the neo-retro vibe. Notable features include a square headlight cowl, a tinted windscreen, and contrast wheels. It sure gets top-spec technology integration with features like a 5-inch TFT, traction control, dual-channel ABS, ride modes, and a two-way quickshifter.
Moto Guzzi V7 Sport

This is Italy’s answer to American retro bikes. The Moto Guzzi V7 Sport blends analog appeal with custom styling and compact all-day ridability. The unique aspect of this roadster is its 90-degree transverse 853 cc V-twin engine. It adds to the visual appeal and produces 67 horsepower and 58 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox and a final shaft drive system.

There are some cool color options for this Moto Guzzi, with our personal favorite being the vibrant Verde Legnano. Honda CB1000F

This is an underrated flagship retro roadster that offers the best value in its segment. Powering the CB1000F is a familiar four-cylinder engine from the CB1000 Hornet, albeit in a toned-down state of tune. The 999 cc mill produces 122 horsepower and 76 pound-feet of torque, sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

Underpinning this is a steel frame also similar to that of the Hornet. The subframe is, however, longer to accommodate a more comfortable one-piece seat and add to its retro stance. The chassis is suspended on Showa suspension at both ends (41 mm inverted SFF-BF forks and monoshock). Both ends offer adjustability. Despite looking like it’s from the 1980s, the Honda CB1000F is surprisingly stacked with cool electronics, including a six-axis IMU. But it isn’t intrusive enough to hamper the mechanical riding experience.
Yamaha XSR900

This Yamaha roadster outperforms its class and offers an all-around experience. The XSR900 can commute, do spirited canyon runs, and even take on swift highway runs without breaking a sweat. Powering the XSR900 is the versatile CP3 mill that also powers a slew of other middleweight Yamaha motorcycles. It produces 117 horsepower and 68.6 pound-feet of torque via a six-speed manual transmission with a quickshifter as standard fitment.

It is underpinned by a die-cast aluminum twin-spar frame borrowed from the MT-09, just like the adjustable KYB suspension hardware. The front comprises inverted forks and the rear gets a monoshock. Electronic features are plentiful, but they don’t get in the way of this Yamaha’s analog-inspired riding appeal. Notable features include ride-by-wire throttle, a six-axis IMU, cornering traction control, three levels of slide control, and even wheelie control.
Kawasaki Z650RS

Royal Enfield INT 650

This is the most affordable way to enjoy analog riding. The Royal Enfield INT 650 offers neo-retro charm and timeless parallel-twin performance on a budget. Powering the INT 650 is a 648 cc oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing a modest 47 horsepower and 38.6 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual and a final chain drive system. Adding to its daily ridability is its punchy low- and mid-range torque.

Underpinning the INT 650 is a fairly simple chassis and suspension setup. It gets a steel double-cradle frame suspended on conventional forks up front. The rear gets preload-adjustable dual shocks. The BSA Gold Star is the revival of a long-lost BSA nameplate in a new avatar. It might not be available here, but there is a chance of its arrival, which is why we’ve included this. Powering this retro roadster is a 652 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 45 horsepower and 40.5 pound-feet of torque.
