EVgo is installing Tesla’s newest Supercharger hardware on its own network, but the stations will be EVgo-branded.

The public fast-charging provider has signed an agreement with Tesla through its Supercharger for Business program to deploy “hundreds” of EVgo-owned and branded V4 Superchargers in US cities, but it hasn’t yet revealed exactly where. Construction is due to begin this fall, with the first sites expected to open in the second half of 2026.

EVgo is calling them “EVgo Superchargers,” and they’ll be part of EVgo’s network. Each location is expected to feature up to 20 stalls located near stores and restaurants.

For Tesla drivers, EVgo Superchargers will appear in the vehicle’s navigation system, and Tesla’s Trip Planner will route drivers to them. That gives EVgo heightened visibility among the millions of Tesla EVs on US roads.

Tesla’s V4 Supercharger hardware can deliver up to 500 kW and support vehicle architectures ranging from 400 to 1,000 volts. Actual charging speeds vary by vehicle, but EVgo says drivers could add up to 200 miles of range in 15 minutes.

The chargers will have Tesla’s Magic Dock, which allows NACS- or CCS-equipped vehicles to charge without an adapter. That means Teslas, non-Tesla EVs with native NACS ports, and CCS-equipped models will all be able to plug in without drivers having to bring their own adapter.

They’ll also have the longer cables introduced with Tesla’s V4 hardware, making it easier to reach charging ports in varying locations on different EVs.

“EVgo is making it easier for EV drivers to find convenient fast charging, and we’re bringing more infrastructure options to communities across America to serve the growing demand for public charging,” said EVgo CEO Badar Khan. “With this deployment, we look forward to welcoming more Tesla and NACS drivers to the EVgo network.”

EVgo says demand across its network has climbed more than 700% over the last three years. As of July 31, it had 240 NACS connectors operating, and more than 35 NACS-equipped EV models are expected to be available in the US by the end of 2026.

The Tesla hardware is just one part of EVgo’s buildout. The company is also developing its own next-generation charging system at its Innovation Lab in El Segundo, California, with the first units expected to be installed by the end of 2026.
