    Firefly monthly deliveries

    2025

    2026

In the first seven months of the year, Nio Inc delivered 227,057 vehicles, up 67.98% year-on-year.

As of July 31, the company’s cumulative deliveries reached 1,224,649 vehicles.

One bright spot in July came from its flagship model. The third-generation ES8 reached its 130,000th delivery on July 22, just 305 days after deliveries began in late September 2025.

The model hit the 120,000 mark on June 22, meaning the latest 10,000 deliveries took only about a month.

The ES8 delivered 8,969 units in June, down 21.85% from May, ending a seven-month streak of monthly deliveries above 10,000.

Deutsche Bank analysts previously said that some consumers holding off in anticipation of the five-seat version was the main reason Nio’s overall June deliveries came in slightly below guidance.

The five-seat ES8 was launched on July 9, with deliveries starting the next day. It starts at 382,800 yuan ($56,380) including the battery, 5.9% lower than the three-row version.

That gives the ES8 lineup a full range of five-, six- and seven-seat configurations, covering both the premium large five-seat and three-row SUV (sport utility vehicle) segments.

In the first half of 2026, ES8 retail sales totaled 78,618 units, ranking first in both China’s large SUV segment and the 400,000-yuan-plus price segment.

The pull from higher-priced models is improving Nio’s financial position. Driven by its flagship products, the main Nio brand’s average transaction price reached 443,000 yuan in June.

Deutsche Bank expects Nio to reach non-GAAP break-even in the second quarter, given the strong contribution from high-margin models.

As for Firefly, the brand on July 20 launched the first model in its new Halo series, its first design-driven lineup, starting at 133,300 yuan, about 11% higher than the regular version. The brand’s cumulative deliveries have surpassed 70,000 units.

Morgan Stanley says GeniTech’s debut at WAIC 2026 takes Nio’s stock narrative one step further toward a vertically integrated AI chip platform.
