This article rounds up the June 2026 delivery performances of China’s major automakers, and will be updated in real time as new data becomes available.
June deliveries showed a clear divergence. Several EV startups refreshed their monthly records for the year, while some automakers remained under pressure.
Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) and Leapmotor (HKEX: 9863) all hit their highest monthly levels so far this year. Zeekr’s deliveries also maintained triple-digit year-on-year growth.
Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) and Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) saw deliveries decline year-on-year, reflecting intensifying competition in the premium segment.
Traditional automotive giants, meanwhile, continue to see strong growth in exports, which has offset domestic weakness.
BYD’s wholesale sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in June came in at 403,472 units, up 5.46% year-on-year, marking the second consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
Overseas sales climbed to a record high of 175,349 units, surging 94.73% year-on-year and accounting for over 43% of total sales for the month.
The domestic market remained under pressure, with sales totaling 228,123 units, down 22.02% year-on-year, though they rebounded slightly by 2.39% month-on-month.
BYD’s June NEV wholesale sales rose 5.46% year-on-year to 403,472 units, marking a second straight month of annual growth.
Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175) reported total sales of 240,799 vehicles in June, up 2.02% year-on-year and 1.33% month-on-month.
The export business continued to be Geely Auto’s strongest growth driver. The company sold a record 102,874 vehicles overseas in June, a significant year-on-year surge of 157.11% and a month-on-month increase of 20.82%. This marks the first time Geely Auto’s monthly exports have surpassed the 100,000-unit mark.
In contrast, performance in the domestic market remained sluggish. Geely Auto’s domestic sales in June totaled 137,925 vehicles, down 29.64% year-on-year and 9.55% month-on-month.
Geely Auto’s sales rose 2.02% in June to 240,799 units, as robust overseas demand offset continued weakness at home.
GWM (HKEX: 2333) sold a total of 108,080 vehicles in June, down 2.36% from the same period last year. However, this figure represents a 7.65% increase from May.
The automaker sold a total of 60,168 vehicles in overseas markets in June, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 50.16% and an 18.70% increase from the previous month.
In June, overseas sales accounted for 55.67% of total sales.
In stark contrast to the strong momentum overseas, GWM continues to face pressure in its domestic Chinese market. The company sold 47,912 vehicles domestically in June, down 32.16% year-on-year and 3.62% from May.
GWM’s global sales fell 2.36% year-on-year to 108,080 units in June, with overseas markets contributing 56%.
Nio Inc delivered 40,597 vehicles in June, setting a monthly record for the year. That marked a 62.88% increase year-on-year and a 7.67% gain from May.
However, second-quarter deliveries totaled 107,658 units, falling short of the lower end of the previous guidance range of 110,000 to 115,000. Deliveries for the quarter were still up 49.4% year-on-year.
By brand, the main Nio brand delivered 21,908 units, Onvo delivered 11,743 and Firefly delivered 6,946.
Nio Inc delivered a cumulative 191,123 units in the first half, a record high and up 67.43% year-on-year.

Xpeng delivered 40,126 vehicles in June, its highest monthly level so far in 2026. That ended five consecutive months of year-on-year declines.
The figure represented a 15.93% increase year-on-year and a 24.78% gain from May.
Its second-quarter deliveries totaled 103,295 units, within the guidance range of 100,000 to 106,000.
The rebound relied mainly on the ramp-up of new models, especially the premium flagship SUV GX. The GX delivered 6,739 units in June, its first full month of deliveries, and its 10,000th unit rolled off the line today.
Xpeng’s next major model is the Mona series’ first SUV — the Mona L03. The vehicle will make its China debut and open pre-sales on July 2.
The company delivered a cumulative 165,977 units in the first half, down 15.83% year-on-year.
Xpeng delivered 40,126 vehicles in June, up 15.93% year-on-year, a monthly high for 2026 so far.
Li Auto delivered 30,895 vehicles in June, down 14.84% year-on-year. That marked the company’s second straight month of year-on-year declines. The figure was down 7.36% from 33,350 units in May.
Second-quarter deliveries totaled 98,330 units, within the guidance range of 95,000 to 100,000.
It delivered a cumulative 193,472 units in the first half, down 5.13% year-on-year.
To boost sales, Li Auto is carrying out a full overhaul of its high-margin L-series extended-range models.
On June 23, Li Auto launched the all-new five-seat flagship SUV (sport utility vehicle) Li L8. It also plans to launch the new-generation Li L6 in July, one of its best-selling extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models.
Li Auto delivered a cumulative 193,472 vehicles in the first half, down 5.13% from a year earlier.
Leapmotor delivered 93,376 vehicles globally in June, a sharp 94.51% increase year-on-year, setting a monthly delivery record for the EV maker.
The figure represented a 14.47% increase from 81,569 units in May.
In the first half of the year, Leapmotor delivered a cumulative 356,487 units, up 60.82% year-on-year.
The company delivered 246,332 units in the second quarter, up 83.68% year-on-year. As of the end of June, its cumulative global deliveries reached 1,552,590 units.
The automaker, backed by Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), is sustaining growth through aggressive product expansion. It has set a full-year 2026 target of one million units.
Leapmotor delivered 93,376 vehicles globally in June, a new monthly record.
Huawei-backed HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) delivered 50,624 vehicles in June, down 3.73% year-on-year, its first year-on-year decline since May 2025.
However, the figure was up 9.76% from the previous month, marking the third straight month of sequential growth.
HIMA delivered a cumulative 242,229 units in the first half, up 18.74% year-on-year.
June’s sequential growth was driven by the ramp-up of several new models. The all-new Aito M9, jointly developed by Huawei and Seres (HKEX: 9927), surpassed 8,000 deliveries within two weeks. The vehicle went on sale on May 27 with a starting price of 479,800 yuan.
Huawei HIMA delivered 50,624 vehicles in June, down 3.73% year-on-year, though up 9.76% from the previous month.
The Zeekr brand delivered 35,169 vehicles in June, a sharp 111% increase year-on-year. That extended the company’s recent strong growth momentum.
The figure was up 2.3% from 34,377 units in May.
Zeekr delivered a cumulative 178,370 units in the first half of the year, up 97% year-on-year.
As of the end of June, Zeekr’s cumulative deliveries reached 821,259 units, with sales momentum remaining solid.
Zeekr delivered 35,169 vehicles in June, setting a record for the third consecutive month.
Xiaomi EV said its June deliveries continued to exceed 30,000 units. That marked its third straight month above the 30,000 mark.
In line with its usual practice, it did not provide specific model breakdown data. Detailed monthly figures are expected to be released later by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
The company has set a full-year 2026 delivery target of 550,000 units, up about 34% from around 410,000 units in 2025. To meet the target, it will need to maintain strong momentum in the second half.
Xiaomi is also preparing to enter the extended-range SUV market. The move will put it in direct competition with Li Auto and Huawei-backed Aito.
This marks the third straight month that Xiaomi EV has topped 30,000 deliveries. No specific figure was disclosed.
Voyah delivered 14,223 vehicles in June, a 41.48% increase year-on-year and a 9.38% increase from May.
In the first half of this year, Voyah delivered 76,264 vehicles, a 35.88% increase year-on-year.
